LG 27UD58 27" UHD IPS Monitor $399.20 (Free C&C or + Delivery) @ The Good Guys eBay

260
P20TGGS

The promo code for the Good Guys is a duplicate but I didn't see this monitor mentioned in that deal post. Sorry if this is still considered a duplicate.

For reference, the absolute next cheapest (before delivery) on Staticice is $488.21: http://www.staticice.com.au/cgi-bin/search.cgi?q=LG+27UD58&s…, with most places charging over $500 before delivery, so this is easily a saving of $100 for a 4K IPS monitor. Not bad!

Please note that the monitor can only tilt, no height/swivel/pivot adjustment. Also, it has no built-in speakers.

Delivery was $38 in Melbourne so this is definitely a better deal if you can get that free Click and Collect.

  • damn.. i would have so gone for it if it was the 27UD68 to make my desk setup identical dual monitors…

    • Any major difference? I have the 27UD68 as well

  • this or the presale kogan 27 VA monitor?

    • IPS on the LG will have better color reproduction, VA probably slightly better response times. I would trust LG's quality over a Kogan. Resale value would also potentially be a bit higher

even with postage it's a bargain!!

  • I have a Lenovo laptop and using the onelink dock, the max resolution supported is 2560x1600. Would this monitor be of any use?

    • +2

I mean… it would still work probably (what are your connections?), but you could just as easily get a 1440p monitor instead and potentially save a few schmeckles or get a better featured monitor for the same price

      • The dock has a display port and HDMI.

  • Did anyone find any stock for pickup? Tried a few postcodes in NSW and its all out of stock. Strangely, if you go the their own site, it has stock at stores that ebay says is out of stock

    That's a very good price there for a 4K.

Other key specs not mentioned in the OP: tilt adjustment only, and no built in speakers.

    • Cheers, added it to the post :)

  • Ive had this monitor for about 6 months and it hasnt missed a beat. Been playing Black ops 4 on it over the weekend and its been crisp. Its one of the better 3840 x 2160 60Hz screens on the market. Cant go wrong at this price!

Edit - You can also clock it to 70Hz

Pretty tempting but I feel like if I was upgrading to 4k I'd try to go for a better refresh rate and response time than this so I might have to pass.
