    • Apart from the freebies, how are you finding eP so far?

  • Anyone want to PM their code, would be most appreciated.

  • Got mine. Perfect timing. Just one week ago finished with Netflix, and decided not to pay for it any longer. Stan so much better than netflix.

    No 20$ voucher tho

  • Most eBay sellers having free postage within Australia, so I'm unsure it's even worth $29
I don't have that much time to watch TV 🤣

  • Redeemed Stan 3 months free, can I cancel the subscription now?

    • Could always provide paypal details for the trial and then log in to your paypal and cancel the payment authority:

      https://www.paypal.com/au/smarthelp/article/how-do-i-view,-m…

      • You don't need to - once the trial is activated, it runs through to completion even after you've cancelled it.

    • Yes you can.

    • yes, that’s what I did

      • Update:
I have just noticed that I was charged $12 for a month! under my account I can see 15/10 ebay plus 3 month offer redeemed and after that a $12 charge! Contacted Stan support and I was told
I’m not eligible for this offer because I have previously redeemed
another offer(amex deal back in 2017). This deal is very dodgy

In other words, if you are already a Stan subscriber(active or inactive), you will get charged $12/month for 3 months Premium Stan instead of $15/month

Greg, thank you for your sacrifice; it is situations like yours that help make genuinely free trials like mine possible. I salute you.

          • @dm01: the problem here is that my situation does not fall into
one of the following 3 categories mentioned in the T&C. Although I have used Stan in the past, I’m not a current/active/existing Stan subscriber(regular or premium):
“Eligible Customers who are not currently subscribers to Stan streaming service will receive a 3 month subscription to Stan's Standard Plan.

Eligible Customers who are existing subscribers to the Stan Service will receive a 3 month upgrade to Stan’s Premium Plan.

8.2.7.(pages2.ebay.com.au) Excludes customers who are existing subscribers to the Stan Service Premium Plan.”

@GregFiona: Yeah it's a stupid way for them to structure it, especially if they're not being transparent about the fact they'll actually charge you despite you clicking through with a promo.

Hopefully it's straightforward for you to get it refunded.

              • @dm01: I have been exchanging a few emails Ed and Daniel from the Stan support tonight, I haven’t asked for a refund, all I wanted was a clarification but they both seem to be very confused.
Daniel has just written to me that my account is “pending cancellation”.He fails to realise that it’s my subscription to the monthly Stan streaming service that’s pending cancellation and not my Stan account

  • My next billing cycle starts tomorrow, have just downgraded from Stan Premium to Standard, will see if it accepts the code tomorrow. A $9 saving over 3 months isn't as good as 3 months free, though still better than nothing if it works.

  • +2

Used an old Stan account for this deal thinking I'd still get the 3 month trial, instead it automatically charged me $12 and when I asked for a refund 10 minutes later stating it was a mistake they refused to refund me.

I don't recall it ever saying I'd be paying for it when I put the code in. These guys are the worst and I won't be using this service again that's for sure.

Yeah I had the same issue with support I just noticed I was charged and support says I wasnt eligable, then why does it show on my account.
Really poor customer support and it aint much better than netflix.

  • Does anyone have a spare code?
Could you please message me? Thanks.
