This is my cats' favourite food, and I have never seen it half price before (often 25% off or 33% off). I bought 4 large bags so I won't have to buy new food for a while. It isn't something that goes off so good to stock up at this good price.
800g was $9.10 now $4.55

…no, not really. It’s not even mediocre. What’s worse is 2016 has seen two formula downgrades to make the food even cheaper to produce and less healthy for your dog.
If they're not used to it you need to introduce it slowly, mixed into the one they're used to

My cat was having urinary tract problems, nobody could really give us a definitive answer as to why, but we ended up stopping buying the Woolies el-cheapo 'Smitten' cat bikkies, and we have been buying him the Fussy Cat Grain Free biscuits since. He's had no more UTI problems since then. But they are $20 per 2kg bag, so this 1/2 price Optimum looks tempting. I looked at a pic of one of the bags, and I can see something about urinary tract health - does anyone have a similar-problemed cat and can comment on how good these are for UTI issues? I'm always up for saving a few bucks but not at the cost of my fur baby's health.
