Cheapest price I've seen this TV.
Can pickup from a local Good Guys or $54.94 delivered.
Just bought one myself after missing the last sale of these going for around $1950 delivered at videopro.
Cheers

I agree.
As soon as I seen it I jumped on it straight away.
Was going to wait for a cheaper price for x90f however this was to cheap to pass up… and pick up too.
I have the x90e and whilst it is a good tv, and the cheapest it got down to was around $2400 last year I think. Assuming the same for this years model. I don't think the x90f will be $700 better than the NU8000!
Sound is meh on most lcd TVs so would say anyone buying a new tv would need to factor in $$$s for a soundbar or something.
Got my x90e for $2174 from good guys with a $200 gift card last year. So there is a chance the x90f will get close to 2k
Got this today, rated best recommended Samsung TV on rtings https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/samsung
Been keeping an eye out for a good deal on this TV for a while and it's the best price I've seen. Also makes it worth the C&C as I've noticed some of their bigger items they haven't made available in this sale.
is there a difference between UA65NU8000WXXY vs UA65NU8000W?
Another one to watch :)
What's a better tv out of a KS8000 or this from 2 metres away for gaming?
Looking at reviews:

https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/samsung/nu8000
KS8000 got a 8.2 two years ago while the NU8000 got a 7.9 this year.
NU8000 has poor dark scene dimming, a shame.
Good TV bought couple months ago when Bing lee Ebay had 20% discount. It was about $1900ish from my memory-this is definitely a steal.
The only downside is the speaker doesn't have the best output - I need to crank the volume to 15-20 to hear quite comfortably. I'm looking for decent soundbar now.
Me too!!!
60+ for planet earth 2
Incorrect thumbnail tricked me into thinking this was for the inferior 7000 series (the 8000 has a flat/middle stand)
Great price!
is this better than the hisense 65p7?
i am so conflicted
I'd also like to know.
do not get a hisense. I made the mistake about 2 weeks ago (65P7) as I have been drooling over it for the longest time like you are. The apps are sht. no access to google play, so you get about 50 apps from its app store, half of which are russian. the bloody native screen mirror app "anyview cast" barely works. There are no video instructions online because it simply does not work.
Picture quality is excellent but so are the sammys and sonys.
so i do not care about smart features whatsoever since im getting a NVdia shield
i only care about picture quality. is it good or better than this samsung
only sony tvs seem to have good smart features, but im not buying one just for that
if that's the case, i guess hisense is an option for you. picture quality is very good on bright contents, you can see a little bit of shadowing effect on dark scenes. sound quality is good too. If i had a Nvidia shield I would get the hisense especially if you get a good bargain.
Bought this tv on the last sale. Just under $1900.
4K is fantastic on it.
Sound is horrid.
Factor in price for soundbar.
That’s what I’ve been doing for a few weeks now.
All good, got a 5.1 setup already so I’m all sorted. I’m keen to pick it up!
75 inch is $3200. That is almost $1400 more. :(
Thats the exact issue i have atm, i need a 75" to fill my lounge room
anyone know if there is a built-in record function? I assume most TV's have this now
I have the 7000 series for both 2015 and 2016 and they both have it. Without checking the specs I’d say it does too.
Damn thats a good deal - but I just bought the 7 series last week… Do you think I can return the 7 series?
I wonder why this deal is not on the front page
Wondering the same thing… makes me second guess how good this deal is…
This is a very good price for this TV - cheapest Ive seen is 2,100! i couldnt wait any longer and pulled the plug on x90f…
As in you bought this instead of waiting longer for x90f?
Bought one before the 20% off ended, thanks OP.
No worries.. It's a great Tv especially for gaming.
That’s an insane deal.
