  • Thanks OP! I've been watching this for about 3 months waiting for the price to drop. I found the sizing is generally smaller than expected, so M should buy L, etc. The quality of Paul Smith clothing is fantastic too - easily last a lifetime.

Curious if this is sarcasm or real

  • +1

The only size sold out is small.

That’s the cashed up mainland Chinese market right there.

I assume it’s the same in the skinny chino section

  • +1

If the Night Print is as loud as that ….the Day Print would need a volume control.

  • -1

I would definitely want the to be paid the original $1,599.00 to wear that. $959.00 is not enough to be paid yo wear that in public.

  • +1 because Paul Smith and you're saving hundreds on good quality clothes. i like most of his designs. this….hmm, i'll check back in a few years

  • -1

Almost a grand for a bomber jacket? What's it made of, gold threads and diamond embroidery? Very content with my $30-$40 Asos bomber jackets.

    • +1

Looks like I pissed a few DJ shareholders off. 😂

  • +1

Paul Smith must be rich af

    • +1

I seriously don't understand why people like you think this is a joke post, this is a legitimate bargain with a good discount. What constitutes this as a joke when the savings are real? Also, limited quantity is not justified

    • +1

      It's not a joke post

  • +1

I thought Apple tax was bad….
Who did the market research for this??

  • +1

    $1600 for a jacket normally?

    • +1

For a designer jacket, yes. I know DJs have sold Valentino dresses that cost the same as the cheapest new car you can buy (around $15 000) …

      • +1

Except dresses are more of a fashion accessory, women get much more dressed up than men (and care a lot more).

That may have been blunt, but it's true. Women are (even if their husbands aren't) happy to spend thousands on a dress. Men have more practical uses for their money, unless they legitimately have much more than they know what to do with - I'd question why they were on Ozbargain then?

I have a feeling I might get negged, but at the same time all I've said are facts.

        • +3

I guess you’re not the kind of person who’s into fashion then (or drop $1600 on a jacket)

For the record, I would rather a car than a dress if you gave me $15 000 - cars are more practical

          • @kerfuffle: Are they though? There's fuel and insurances and other running cost. A dress.. well you can throw that on and take it for a spin anytime.

            • @pin4e: A dress isn't going to get me from A to B via C and it wouldn't be the kind of dress you would wear every day either, unlike a car

              • +1

@kerfuffle: In the right dress you can go anywhere ;)

                • +2

@pin4e: Yeah, but will it have pockets? 😂

            • @pin4e: Don't be ridiculous, you can't wear a $15000 dress more than once

  • -1

Wtf has the world come to $1.6k for a jacket.

  • +1

Bargain for a special designer jacket… can tell this is specifically catered to the Chinese mainlanders
