@PJC: Both actually. Some pieces the housings are made in Victoria and the LED chips are manufactured in China. Same as LIFX
Do you manufacture in Brisbane too? Or are they designed in Australia and manufactured offshore?

@PJC: Yeah pretty much. To be honest, that's how manufacting for electronics works. Would you consider Apple to be an American or Chinese company?

Better off going the 3 pack - https://light-housetech.com/products/beacon-1-home-pack and applying the code. After $10 shipping ends up being $31.66 a bulb (though not sure OP is wanting the code to apply to the 3 packs..?)

LIFX has worse ratings but I've never had issues with their app.
My experience with LIFX software is that it's buggy and unreliable, its development API and third party controls are usually great…. The bulbs themselves are great tho…
I pull all the Edison screw down lights out my house in 2012 and moved to 4watt gu10's I kicking myself now!
No bayonet options? Would be great to see a side by side comparison to LIFX, Yeelight etc
