  • No way… I just printed a bunch of photos at OW… but then again there isn't a city store.

  • +4

$4 postage or pick up in person.

    • +2

Cheers for that, to save others time the prints originally cost 10c each and if you choose to ship your still saving $1 compared to paying full price pickup in store

  • App is buggy as hell. However managed to get 50 free photos pickup.

    • It was nowhere near as bad as I expected to be honest - not the most responsive app ever invented, but for selecting / uploading 50 images I thought it was more than acceptable. Definitely worth it for 50 free photos.

      • Photos will be ready at 10am tomorrow.

Always have a question in my mind: will the staff look into the photos printed? how do they ensure privacy? Just curious haha, don't mind me never used this service before.

    • +6

      nude photos?

    • +1

just buy a cheap inkjet to print your nudez dude.

    • +17

Please post pictures your talking about on here so we can let you know if they will spend their time looking at them.

    • +2

Yeah get an inkjet and some branded paper for your nudes. I can print at home better quality nudes than the HN lab can anyway. It’s just pretty inconvenient loading up 50 4x6 pages at once. But if you don’t want the HN people looking at your butthole, and risk them saving a copy, the you should print at home. I remember when I was a kid I took photos on a roll at a school camp, but turned out the person developing it was also a kid at the same school. They kept the prints they wanted/didn’t want me to have, and cut out the negatives for those photos. Some of them were kind of wild shots of crazy camp antics that I wouldn’t want anyone to see so I couldn’t really complain about it to anyone.

    • Yes they will, people get in trouble for pics of their kids in the tub.

    • I used to work at a place that did film processing… the answer is yes, the staff do look.

I'm going to find a photo I like, split it into a grid, get the photos printed out, then stick them back together on a wall!

    • +1

how does one split it into a grid? any good software?

      • +2

this site looks like it might do the trick. https://rasterbator.net/
just need to have a high res image, and make sure the images it creates are the same ratio as the ones being printed

personally going to see if i can get it to work on this image

          Thanks Onesimpleclik :)

    • +2

This will work if the photos will print as they are, and not cropped to fit

    • Allow a bit of a margin or overlap. Borderless printing can only be achieved by sacrificing a small section of the border of each picture.

    • +2

I tried that before - unfortunately the photos come out with different colour palettes so what might be something uniform in colour will appear, across multiple photos, to be completely different hues.

    • Interesting idea. How were you planning on sticking it to the wall? Blu tack?

This catalogue (Refresh & Upgrade) is valid until 2018-10-28 11:59 PM.

Where do you put the promo code?

    • +1

Just after you choose which store to pick-up from it will take you to a confirmation page. You can put the code into the promotion part and click the +, then the order should show as $0.

  • Do any of the Harvey Normans (or their online photocentre) still use the good Fuji machines?

  • +4

This is testing my "No Harvey Norman" policy!! But, hey, it's free…

(Is the whole process done electronically, including submitting photos?)

  • +1

Awesome deal, but this caveat in the confirmation email made me laugh: "Please allow approx. 1 - 10 business day(s) for your order to be ready to be picked up in store."

  • +1

When does this offer expire? Couldn't see it in picture

    • +2

Probably when Gerry realizes he is giving something away for free.

I appreciate the freebie but that app is so bad I think it gave me cancer from just using it. Horrible experience.

  • Worked fine along with the $5 cup

  • Do I have to use all 50 at once?

  • Is this only via app? Cant order with a laptop?

Edit: cannot use code through laptop, says app only.

  • Worked for me. Used app

  • Placed order this morning using app without any issue.
    Thanks OP

  • Has anyone received email to say order ready to be picked up?

    • nope, but I check the order status and it now says order status: IK DCM Printed

going to call up and see if they are ready for pick up

    • Didn't get an email but got a call advising they are ready for collection.

  • Promo ends today, folks.

Get your freebie from Gerry before it's too late.

    • just made the order with about 5 mins to spare. hopefully the order still works as long as coupon has been entered cos the photos are still uploading!

      • Good stuff.

I hope you get your free prints from Gerry.
