    Hi Guys,

I just spoke with someone on chat, they asked me to use BLOCK20 for existing user.

Not sure if this is just a once off code though.

    • BLOCK2 did not work for me as an existing user but this new one of BLOCK20 gave me $19.90 off an order of $49.75.

    • Just used BLOCK20 and it worked thank you!! Seemed to treat my existing user as a new user but oh well…

  • Code doesn't work for existing customers.

    • Yes it does. I just used it.

      • Maybe targeted.

        • +2

As i said, I used it on an existing account and it worked. I have had the Youfoodz account for months.

I wonder whether they changed the eligibility soon after.

          • +2

@soupratt: Ok and myself and half a dozen other people with existing accounts found it didn't work with the error message I pasted. So it clearly doesn't work for some / most existing customers.

So either you somehow didn't use your account, they changed it in the last few minutes, or it only applies to some existing accounts (which actually seems likely based on the message). Potentially they're targeting less active customers as well as new customers?

            • +1

@[Deactivated]: Worked on my existing account when the post was just alive. Now doesn't work so it must have been changed.

              • @askbargain: Really not sure how companies manage to get this wrong, the promotional says new customers only so must have been a quickly-ish corrected mistake.

                • @[Deactivated]: Would you/anyone in the same situation try entering this competition with the same email address as your Youfoodz account, then try ordering with the coupon? Just wondering if that was was the 'requirement' the code is referring to.

                  • @hamza23: Alas I have entered that competition with a different email already today and don't want to risk being disqualified for breaking the rules.

                    • @[Deactivated]: Ah no problems, I'm sure there will be others who haven't entered yet.

          • @soupratt: Worked for me about an hour ago

  • thanks OP. works for 50% off snacks too

    didnt work for me

    Didn't work for me either.

Existing customer didn't work for me - tried a new email and it worked.

  • +1

Both myself and my partner are existing customers and it worked for both of us.
    Cheers mate!

  • +1

Before someone asks the question, I've got you covered.

    Q - are these filling?
A - 1.5 to 2 to feel full. Smaller than normal portions but mostly decent flavours.

    • +4

TBH I find them plenty filling. But I don't burn a whole lot of calories in a day (eg, I eat 2 of these + 1 snack a day and that's it). You too can save money by having an abysmal metabolic rate. :o

They are more 'weight loss / maintenance' sized portions than 'I'm lazy and don't want to cook' sized portions though. Some are really decent, especially if the alternative is cooking for 1 where you really can't make 'fresh' some of these meals without heaps of wastage / eating them for a week sold. I wouldn't bother for the easily re-creatable from frozen ingredients ones though.

    • +2

But… you forgot to include the bit about delivery charges to WA killing it :-p

      • +2

Delivery charges to WA kill it.

Put a fullstop in the middle of your email and it'll treat you like a new customer
eg. [email protected] -> [email protected]

Would you/anyone in the same situation try entering this competition with the same email address as your Youfoodz account, then try ordering with the coupon? Just wondering if that was was the 'requirement' the code is referring to.

      • I did that (that's how I got the code initially actually), but it didn't work for me unfortunately.

        • Thanks for the info, someone else said the same also, looks like it isn't related to entering the comp.

  • +1

Didn't work for either of my two accounts but worked for a new one.

  • Tried on both accounts and code did not work. Meh not a bad deal but CBF making a new account😁

  • +3

At first I got the error message. Then I just took a full stop out of my email address and the code was able to work (and I still got the confirmation email for my order).

Getting the YF Faves bundle for $44.95 plus a 6th meal gave a total of 6 meals for $35 after discount, which is $5.83 per meal.

  • Also, as I posted, half price on snacks as well atm

  • Haven't used before… Is this frozen meal? Or they deliver fresh ingredients and we cook it?

    • Neither. It's a refrigerated precooked meal, you keep it in the fridge and then heat in the microwave for 2 minutes when ready to eat. They keep for about a week.

From what I hear this company is in financial trouble. Grab these while you can.

    • why?

      • I was thinking just that right now, with all these constant promotions for new and existing.

I'd guessed they might be in trouble, buffing up the sales volume numbers for a sell off

    • What's your source? Seems like they're thriving with possible upcoming ASX listing and global expansion?
      https://www.google.com.au/search?q=youfoodz&safe=off&rlz=1C1…

      • thats why they're constantly have these discounts, to bump up sales numbers.

A real thriving business wouldn't go for public listing, the only reason would be for capital investment for expansion, which there is limited scope in this type of business

        • They are listing to raise funds for a global expansion.

    • Completely made up.
Asx listing coming as mentioned above
"Youfoodz is thought to be worth about $250m. It is run by Lance Giles and has funds from China backing the business."

      • I see these guys in 7 Eleven and other small chains. I'm sure theyre not in trouble

Saw an advertisement on youtube that are now selling in Aldi too

  • +1

Thanks! I've never tried youfoodz, 30 bucks is worth it for a try :)

    • I think it actually tastes quite good, despite being left in the fridge for another day or 2. The only issue is I have to have at least 3 portions each meal to satisfy me hunger

    • tried it, pretty decent, for small meals… Im just too greedy though to keep to 1 portion

  • +1

I entered my address (Perth) and it's adding $20 for delivery.

    • Same. Was interested until that came up.

  • How do they deliver to apartments? Does the driver ring and wait for you or just drop it off at the front door?

    • From experience, it depends on the driver. Some ring the intercom, wait for you to answer and even deliver up to your front door if you ask them. Otherwise, some just leave the box at the front door of the building. You get an SMS and email when they're "on the way" and when it's been "delivered" (dropped off), so even in the case they're leaving it at the front door, if you're on top of the communications you can pick it up yourself pretty soon after.

      • That's great to know, thanks!

  • Dammit my two accounts didn't work. Don't they know how much I order when there's a code?! Or how many of these I upvote?!

  • Code works for me but $20 delivery charge to Perth is a non starter. Perhaps this should be put in the post.

  • How long do these keep?

If you have ordered previously using your gmail.com email, do the following
instead of (insertname)@gmail.com use (insertname)@googlemail.com and it will assume it's a new user but the confirmation comes to your gmail account.
I have done it and it worked.

    • Thank you! Worked for my gmail :)

    • It actually works. Thanks a lot

    • Legend, got me another week of Youfoodz deals thanks to you! Wasn't working until your method

  • Still not available in my area :( damn it i want to see what all the fuss is about.

  • Got the 5 meal bundle and the beef pie for $30. Thanks :)

  • +1

Thanks! Block2 didn't work last night, but Block20 worked for me just now. Existing customer

  • +1

    BLOCK20 worked for me. Thanks!

  • +1

Just used BLOCK20. Thanks. Also, dont forget half price snacks at the moment.

  • Worked on both codes and by adding 10 items, i got the said discount to $79.90 now.. hmmm never tried youfoods.. so thinking to bite the bullet.

    • +2

if you create 2 orders with different accounts (as mentioned above), you can get a double discount and get 10 meals for $59.70

      • +1

I do this every week, do two orders to get double discount. One in my name, one in my partners name.

  • Thanks. Just put in another order because of this deal.

Are these meals significantly better than the Coles frozen meals? 🤔🤔

    • +2

far, far better in most cases.

    • These are fresh meals, not frozen FYI

  • Cheers! Just placed an order. Existing customer btw.

  • I’m a long time existing customer BLOCK20 worked for me, thanks OP

  • Thanks. Worked for me (only tried one code). I'm an existing customer.

  • I got my order today, so many extra things in the box though, I had to go back and check what I paid for!

I ordered 5 meals and 4 snacks and there was 9 snacks in the box, along with a welcome pack (used the + in my email) with two more protein balls, a plate and cutlery set. Crazy. Clearly something going on in dispatch as I only ordered and paid for 1 of each, but got multiples. Bonus I suppose!

Edited to add - I’ll be dropping them a quick email to let them know. Seemed only fair as if something was missing I’d be telling them!

    • They usually add bonus stuff in the package. The last 2 orders I got cutlery, protein balls and protein powder added for free.

  • My tracked order kept getting delay all day from 10am till 5:38pm before it no longer got updated. No phone call. No explanation. I even contacted them online (Ashley) who confirmed it will arrive at 5:30pm. 6:50pm still nothing. I wonder what their definition of 'fresh' is consider that I got two "Your fresh Youfoodz are nearly there!" emails today 5 hours apart from each other and still nothing.

Guess my food is going to be at least 24 hours less fresh tomorrow.

    • +1

Im in a similar position. I got a text saying my delivery tomorrow will now be due on Wed. :/
