Hi everyone
I'm looking a pair of sunglasses (good standard). As a student I can't offer much but up to $40.00.
Can you please suggest me a good place to buy?
Thanks in advance.

DO NOT buy from a market stall… if you buy from a chemist/ petrol station they will be ACCC compliant which means the lenses will be safe to use and will have UV protection.
My preferred low cost sunnies are Le Specs, you can usually find them for around the price you mentioned if you shop around. Other good option (bit more classic and basic) is Cancer Council.
Cancer Council ones? They are always on sale somewhere
Can vouch for these, go for polarised ones for sub $100.
I find them much more comfortable on the eye than my $200-300 Raybans.
Came here to suggest the same thing. I buy Cancer Council polarised sunnies for about $30 when they come on sale on Catch.
Target have women's polarised cancer council sunnies for $25.
Target don't seem to sell sunglasses for men (or at least don't have any on their website anyway).
cancer council are good and inexpensive. Should be able to get polarised lenses for around that price, acrylic frames. Often on sale at DJs or Myer.
$29.99 polarized service station sunnies. can't go wrong.
I recommend https://www.firmoo.com/. If you sign up, they will send you lots of attractive offers… quality and range is good. Of course not produced here in Australia but neither is Vision Direct for that matter. Fast service. Prescription and polarised.
Hawkers. Can get some nice looking sunnies for pretty cheap, even cheaper on sale. Have bought a few different pairs from them. Always solid quality, UV protection, polarised. Would definitely recommend.
I suggest visiting a local chemist and see what they have in your budget.
May not be the most fashionable, but if they work it doesn't matter.
Next step down is a petrol station.
