agreed with this. 7DTD is amazing and every patch (even if it takes a damn year between major patches) changes and improves so much.
My only main issue about the game is the poor optimization, but it will get fixed over time. insanely fun to play.
7DTD is one of my favourite games. I'm at 60 hours+. Its a brilliant zombie survival crafting game. You literally start with nothing in a zombie-infested wasteland. However you really need to play it with a group of friends. Its very unintuitive and surprisingly difficult. Also buggy as hell and graphics are fairly low-rent.
Hollow Knight is easily one of the best games I've ever purchased. Mechanically incredibly tight, with a really subtle, understated art style and endless replayability. I've already bought it on Switch but I'll absolutely be grabbing it on PC as well.
Plus, it was made in Australia which is pretty damn neat.
Wow didn't know it was made in Australia, but agree with your comments. It's one of the best games I've played in years…
Not sure about replay ability though, I don't see myself going back once I've finished it… or tried all the endings.
Playing with different combinations of charms, exploring in different orders, self-imposing challenges (i.e. not upgrading your weapons) is enough to make new play-throughs feel unique enough if you want to! Challenge runs can get brutal, though.
I don't really like how they don't reveal all the games until the month is over. Would prefer to see them all be revealed at the start as that locked game could mean the difference between a buy or not.
That works both ways though. I bought last months but if i knew the full list of games priori wouldn't have. Besides, it wouldn't be as fun waiting for the reveal!
I really like seven days to die, but no one plays with me
7 Days To Die is still my fave game of all time (PC).
Alpha 17 is not too far away now and it will add quite a lot to the game, which is pretty bloody good already.
If you play online, the Aussie/NZ communities are really good and you'll have a good laugh and should not have too many issues at all.
I've had it for years and it just gets better with every new Alpha release. Yeah, it's taking bloody ages for them to release a final game, but it's played like a full game for a couple of years now and just gets better with every update.
As for pricing, you can usually get it in sales for about $12.00 US on average, otherwise it sit around $25.00 US.
The game itself… Zombie hordes attack you every 7 days and they get worse as those 7 days progress.
You need to scavenge tools, weapons, clothes, parts, food, water, ammo etc and there is a leveling system for tools, weapons and yourself.
You can also hunt animals and cook food with various recipes giving different results.
Crafting is fun as you can build traps and bases and building is good with a physics system in place.
I pretty much tell my kids it's Minecraft for grown ups.
