I am curious to see how much price competition there will be in mirrorless ff next year. If possible, I suggest waiting and seeing before committing to a particular system.
A73 will still be the best mirrorless camera… But the question is… Is it still enough to convince people to switch systems?
Battery life is a concern,if you are used to nikons battery life.
A73 battery is fine… Especially if you compare to other mirrorless
No issues with battery life in the 3rd Gen from Sony (battery was changed/upgraded)… even the Sony 1st/2nd gen camera's I never had any major issues with them (currently use the A7Rii camera and it's actually fine but do agree it's much less than traditional SLR's but as above this is no longer an issue in the newer 3rd Gen units form Sony… hope the info is of use to some…
It's not just about which is best. With 3 new mirrorless ff coming it is hard to imagine that Sony will not offer better deals once the competitors are nearer to the market.
hopefully the prices come down with competition. I can't bring myself to spend $4k + lenses with which the IQ and size isn't far off DSLRs.
