$99 for delivery seems a little steep considering how close I am to ikea.

Seems small enough to fit in your car if your seats fold down though.

Probaly due to the cost of labour, finding item, organising delivery, loading of item and then travel to deliver it. Its probably flat rate anyways.

    • Or hire a ute for an hour or 2 for <$50 and pick it up if it doesn't fit in your car.

    • I've taken that table home in a normal car. All the boxes are under 10cm thick.

The table is 150x80 so if you can cram/occy that in, you're golden.

    • You can hire a goget van from IKEA they're less than $20/hr + 40c/km usage.
Membership is free for first year if you join from IKEA, just make sure you don't let goget to renew your membership if you don't use it often. They'll put you to a 'holding' membership plan which has $0 annual/monthly fee but you pay slight higher rate when you rent a car.

  • Good deal, the table is $129 and the chairs $45 each if you don't need all 6! I just got a table and 2 chairs for $219

  • I’ve got these, they look good but the colour starts fading after just 12 months. You’ll need to buy seat cushions as well if you want to be comfortable.

    • Had mine outside 2 years. No colour fade. You can pick up the stain and brush to apply at Ikea, recommended to do every season or when it fades to keep it looking new and protect the wood as well

  • Have to agree the tables seemed to be poorly made but the chairs seem to last. We didnt go this particular table as its pretty flimsy when giving it a shake. Wouldnt be great to have people leaning on and putting it through lots of entertaining
