  • Not a simple question to answer.

    How about you tell us………
    -where you are
-your type of house and roof
    -the orientation of your house
-do you have a smart meter

  • Melbourne Inner City
Flat Roof - Double Story - No shade. Can fit 34 Panels up there.

    Unsure of house orientation.
Yes, have a smart meter, and three phase power.
    Cheers.

With Solar, remember that you get for what you pay for. This includes, the panels, inverter and installation.

The deal looks to be on the cheap end. Some initial cons from my perspective:

Does the price include or exclude the gotv rebate? Also, make sure you qualify for the rebate in the first place.

  • I had a look around there site, it list Black Mono Solar Panels, a GoodWe inverter in this deal. As they have LG Panels elsewhere on their site I would guess that's what they are talking about here. But if in dought give them a call.

  • Found out they are CSUN 300W Solar Panels.
Invertor being offered is Trannergy, 5KW.

Never heard of either of these.
    Stay away?

    • I have never heard of these brands either. I would pass. Do you want to risk the company doing a runner when you need it to perform a warranty in 5 years time? Australia has pitiful anti-phoenixing laws that allow companies to get away with a lot.

  • Got a mate who went with them and got it installed before I got mine done. Still struggling to obtain all Vic rebate forms from them. Gov inspector is yet to visit. You get what you pay for. Go for Fronius inverter. Make sure the installer and inverter you get are approved installers by CEC or you won’t get the rebate if you qualify for it. Pm me if you need more help
