Is the A6500 considered mirrorless and cheap?
Yes the a6500 is mirrorless. I recently sold my Canon DSLR and bought the Sony A6000 second hand (which is a step down from A6500). Fantastic camera. don't regret the switch.
Which Canon did you replace?
550d. Both APS-C sensors. I also like the possibilities in adapting old lenses that mirrorless offers.
New Sony A7000/6700 (name unconfirmed) camera coming possibly next week, hence the discount.

Nah Sony do these sales all the time, it's normal practice. Will sometimes be a bunch of retailers, sometimes just one or two, but they come around pretty often.
Sites like that are trash, they have been trying to guess the a6700 for a year now
Shame, I could use a new lens.
Probably better deals during eBay 20% off sales. Saw Sigma 30mm and 60mm f2.8 lenses for about $200 last eBay sale.

Looks like a bunch of retailers are having a sony madness sale… Just a quick glance at the A6500 body only, these other places are about 200 less than ted's.

I also saw the prices over those sites, and at the moment, Ted's remains the lowest with (warranty and free shipping for members apparently)

Cn any knowledgeable members include 'actual' prices after the discounts, I am interested in either the A6000 or A6500 (a6300 not enough of difference b/w it and the A6000 IMO).
We only need A7M3!
