Thats like saying 10% off if you purchase over $10,000.
If its 15% off…. that what it is, not when you purchase a minimum amount to 'recoup' your discount.
I agree with this. I think retailers that put a "minimum spend" is just as dodgy as retailers who lift prices up then offer "discounts" afterwards to reduce it back to its normal price. I'm not saying it's not common practice, I'm saying it's dodgy. Not a genuine bargain then.
the exception to this (IMO) is when they offer a substantial discount (I'm thinking over 30%) with a realistic minimum spend depending on the product - but I am a bit of a tight-a$$ :P
