  • Can any purchaser confirm if it is a code that could be given as a gift? Or is it tied to a name?

This deal is a rip-off since Gold Lounge tickets can be purchased for $20.

    • where at? I remembered mastercard had gold class tickets for 25 dollars, but 20 is heaps cheap!

      • I'm with aami insurance, through their aami 'lucky club' I get $20 gold class tickets for all day Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. I still don't go to the cinemas…

      • Well Mon-Fri before 5pm they're $22.50- $25 depening on location all the time so its hardly a deal unless you got sat-sun night when they're usually $40ish

        • In addition to aami insurance.

The Events Cinemas at Kotara sells Gold Class tickets for $20.

The catch is that ticket can only be purchased online so a booking fee of $3.25 is incurred.

          Cinebuzz is also required.

Still it is cheaper than this deal.

          • @Atazoth616: But, I recommend purchasing Hoyts Lux through optus perks for $30.

            Because:
            Exclusive VIP lounge with bouncers.
            Seats are more comfortable.
            Escorts to the seat.
            Complimentary drink and popcorn.

Good analogy is that Lux is comparable to first class and Gold comparable to business class on a plane.

  • is this a deal?

well - this is the 'standard' price
    https://giftshop.eventcinemas.com.au/products/GoldClassExper…

So - its 'a' saving - you can choose if $80 is a bargain for beer and movies….

+1 as its effectively 20% off.
