Hi All,
I am trying to book a return ticket from Sydney to London on Qantas website.
The one I would like to go for is Emirates from Sydney to London (with a QF flight number although operated by Emirates) and Qantas on the way back. Both of those flights can be found on Qantas website due to codeshare arrangement.
Due to Qantas's Price Promise policy, I have been able to get them to price match the same flights from other cheaper websites however I have never done this when there is a codeshare arrangement. Their price promise T&C states that
*Same Qantas flight numbers – if your flight segment is on a Qantas/Emirates codeshare flight number, the screenshot must also be the same and not the flight number of the operating carrier."
So my question is that, how is it possible to find the itinerary from other travel website (e.g. skyscanner or IWTF) that shows the Emirates operated flight with QF number as that's the only way Qantas would price match? All the identical flights I have found shows Emirates flight number which makes sense however this would void Qantas's Price match policy although they are exactly the same flight.
I will have to book via Qantas due to some discounted arrangement at work.
Thanks a lot.
If you book through the Qantas website and then try to get them to price match after you are going to have a bad time. Nothing but trouble with their price match
