New release game, "Think of the Children" is 20% off for launch. Ends tonight (already over for PSN).
Fun little coop party game. Similar in concept as Overcooked. Manage a bunch of kids and and keep them alive while you try to multitask in different scenarios. Personally I like it best for Switch (suits the console) but its cheapest on Xbox. Don't forget 5.5% Cashrewards at microsoft.com

Already available on Steam as well but its more of a couch game suited to consoles.

Seems I'm now permanently associated with Microsoft for future posting because of the link. Any mods know how to remove that? I know the devs not MS.

    You’re associated with Microsoft?
    Do you know Bill Gates?

He's my uncle and he'll ban you from playstation if you be mean to me in Splatoon.

      • And disown you if you have anything Apple

I think the girlfriend and I played this at the 2016 IGN Select Awards night; it was a lot of fun!

I'll be sure to check it out.

    • It started life as one of those 48hour game jams. The picnic level is roughly what they made.

Great game, playing on switch with 8yo (Overcooked 1+2 veteran).

Advice please… How to put the coolant in the pipe at spaceship level (party mode)?

Go your bro! Inspiring to see 'locals' make quality. 8yo and I are keen to have a go making a game now.

He says 'just pick it up' but also if this is a switch version, they just found a bug some people are getting that make it where the coolant isn't spawning. Have already fixed it for other platforms and patch out v soon for switch as well (probably tomorrow).

      • Thanks for the reply, and yes on Switch. Basically you touch it and it explodes. The children can sort of push it along and we thought that's how but insanely difficult. We will hold tight :)

How come switch games are more expensive? 2nd class citizen >:(

    • Publisher/Nintendo handled the pricing so he's not sure. ?Nintendo taking a bit of a bigger slice than MS.

Is there currently/going to be a physical release for this game by chance?

    • +1

Negatory. :( Nintendo in particular are really pushing eShop releases over physical. I'd love to have a physical copy as well, just to have on the shelf.

        Thats a shame!

Check out Limited Run Games (if you haven't heard of them yet) - I believe I read something about them helping do physical versions of certain games. No idea of the requirements though!

        • Cheers, wasn't familiar with them. Will send it along to him. Looks like they can do physical orders in increments of 1000 copies. Tempted to order Golf Story from them now… Love that game :P

        • Limited Run Games it is.

OP I would love to support your effort in developing this game
any way of buying the game, without going through the estore?

    • Not for switch sadly. PC version is through Steam or Humble. Xbox and PS4 from their respective stores.

      • That's a bummer, as my son has dropped his switch.

Will the PC version be harder to play as it uses keyboard controls vs the joycons for the switch.

        • Supports controllers for the steam version. If your computer has Bluetooth you could probably even get the switch controllers working although it's designed for an Xbox controller.
