I just found a few of product pages that says 2x some items, but when you add it to your cart, it does not actually show 2x anywhere.
For example:
https://www.ebay.com.au/p/2x-Comvita-UMF-18-250g-Manuka-Honeā¦
It says 2x Comvita UMF 18 250g Manuka Honey Zealand, but when you click details or add it to the cart, the title changes to Comvita-UMF 18+ Manuka Honey 250g
Nowhere in the description says that the quantity will be two bottles.
I think this is borderline deceptive practice. What are your thoughts?
Oh that is bad. I was going to say - it tells you in details so it's okay, but there's a "Buy it now" option right on the page that actually says "2x …" which means you could skip to buying directly without realising it's a single unit.
I think eBay would be pretty snappy with refunds if you complained afterwards, but you could talk to eBay now and get them to change that product title because that's a "Product" listing by eBay itself, not by individual sellers I think - and it could well be automated (if enough people are selling the product in pairs, but the cheapest actual listings are obviously for a single unit).
