Shit that's a good deal! I'm hoping to wipe my local Coles clean this morning!

    • +3

I wish I could wipe my memory of that crap pun..

      • Oh we're flush with jokes this morning I see!

        • That was very smooth!

        • -1

He does know how to ply his trade!

          • +1

@serpserpserp: Must have a very cisternatic approach to work.

  • +4

Even if people want the better quality toilet paper for "normal" use - the lower end toilet paper is good for cleaning. Wipe down the surface then throw the toilet paper in the toilet and flush it away.

    • +1

Glad I'm not the only one who keeps a toilet roll on the dining table.

      • +4

        Bon appetit

      • So you run all the kebab shops around town?

      • I just threw up a bit in my mouth. At least I will have the toilet paper to clean it up.

  • How do these compare to the Emporia line?

    https://www.bigw.com.au/product/emporia-3-ply-toilet-tissue-…

    • +2

Better than Emporia in my opinion.

      • Errr, ahem, you have to be sh1tt1ng me.

  • +19

I was too slow! I wanted to make the No. 2 comment.

    • +1

      Stop shitposting

      • +3

We're really on a roll here.

    • +2

seems you're the butt of all jokes today.

  • +2

I bought it for $3.15 at my local Coles a couple of day ago. I think the clearance price depends on which local Coles stores.

It is as good as some popular brand's, I can recommend it to everyone. Here is the Choice group test for your reference.

    • Which Coles did you go?

      • Brighton-la-Sand. I picked up the last 2 packs, no more left.

  • Shows up as $6.30 for me in Brisbane.

    • in store ?

    • It's not an online special otherwise my house would be full of this product right now.

  • +1

My workmate Simon says he uses nothing else on his arse I’m off to Coles now to treat my date to it’s embossed goodness.

    • +1

My workmate Dick said the same!

    • +5

You finally decided to ask Simon out? Good for you!

  • Which Coles you see this will be helpful?

    • You're in another city to the OP though.

  • +1

    Price confirmed at sunnybank plaza

  • +2

    Your faeces shall not pass!

    • said the little man in the german helmet

  • None in Broadway Sydney - just an empty shelf and a huge number of normally priced 24 roll numbers.

  • Coles Dog Swamp WA none either.

  • Are these on par with Quilton?

    • Not quite but close. Quilton is the best.

      • +2

thx but for $1.57, I will risk my bump for this. (If I can find stock …)

  • this was clearanced a week ago so there wont be any around…

    • I picked up heaps this morning at Coles airport west (think they are out of stock now) and my mum then went to Avondale heights Coles and they had heaps left. So plenty of stores still have stock. There was only a few at airport west but then I asked and they said they had heaps out the back ☺️

    What's brown and sticky?
    A brown stick

    • +1

Off topic - what's orange and sounds like a parrot.

      A carrot.

      • +1

        Orh Dad!

Saw Cram do that to Adam Hills on Spicks and Specks. Best heckle I’ve ever seen against a Comedian.

        • Someone appreciates me! Not just someone, perhaps the friendliest member of ozbargain!

Looking for awesome heckles, look up Jimmy Carr best heckle. Not dirty.

          • +1

@ozbjunkie: Have you been watching 8 out of 10 Cats do Countdown. Well worth the look. I would also recommend the Friday Night Comedy - News Quiz podcast and Mock the Week.

            • @try2bhelpful: The girl on countdown makes me feel stupid! But yes a great show. Will have to check out the news quiz podcasts thanks for the tip!

          • @ozbjunkie: Soooo funny at his last show I west to with friends he picked my mate for his 'if you had to sleep with another guy who would it be' joke. My mate wouldn't name anyone so jimmy kept trying … then Jimmy's like if you had to though… if it was that or a bullet… and my mate goes I'd take the bullet hahaha… was so funny my mate was so nervous.

Hot tip… don't get front row!

            • +1

@OneMoreTune: Reminds me about the joke where 2 mates were bushwalking, and one gets bitten on the dick by a snake, so his friend calls the poison information line.

"You'll have to suck the poison out or he'll die", they say.

What's going to happen to me, his mate asks…

              "You're going to die".

  • I just started using these. It's a great product. Sad that it didn't do well.

  • Great product, but online price is $6+ in WA for me. Is this something In-Store only?

  • None in stock at my local Coles.

  • $3.15 at two vic stores I've visited

    • +2

Sticker says 3.15 but it scans at $1.57

  • How reliable is it?

    • +12

Not the most reliable - I'd consider it single use only TBH.

      • +1

        OK thanks mate

    • Reduce the speed applied to lessen chances of friction causing a biologically hazardous incident.

  • Why buy, git dem from workz.

  • So Soft….
    So Excite

  • +2

Can confirm they are on clearance and a new line is being added.

  • None at Kenmore.

  • None at Donvale. (VIC)

  • Is there any bargains for 24 packs one? No more 12 packs left :(

  • +7

Although shelf is empty, a full pallet remains out back at Coles Campbellfield (VIC) at 2pm. Asked sales assistant to check, and he kindly returned with 8 packs of 12. Thank you OP :)

    • +1

      Good score, cleanarse.

    • +1

Yep you need to ask ☺️ I got mine from airport west and it was the same a full pallet out the back and only a few on the shelf!

      • I reckon he would have given me more too, but best to share the spoils, so to speak :)

        • +2

You reckon' it's better to spread it around rather than completely clean 'em out?

  • Nothing @ parkhill.

  • Excellent first deal. One of the best deals for me this year.
Regular price is $6.30 each, and I normally get this brand anyway.
    Got a trolly full.

  • +1

OP, congrats for your first post wonder! 👍

  • Came here for the puns and toilet humour. Not disappointed. Well done. 💩

  • I was thriled that I'd got it for $3.15 last week, now it's half that?? I feel cheated instead.

  • This is a good product I've bought regularly for at least 2 years. I wonder why they are discontinuing it?

    • +1

No, they're not discontinuing the product line. They replace the 12 pack with 8 pack.

      • Ah. The link now says $6.30. I've been getting 24-roll packs for $8.50.

        • +1

It's half price last week, and quarter of the price this week, both in-store. That makes it cheaper than 24-roll packs in per unit price.

          • @O O: Oh, I'll certainly look out for it. At $1.57 for 12-packs I'll fill 1 or 2 trolleys.

            • +2

@PJC: Success at Kurri Kurri. I got the last 17 which is worthwhile because I was passing by anyway. Thanks again OP.

              • @PJC: Surely the trailer hire and the cost of the storage unit must have ruined the deal?

                • @JerryB: No, 17 12-packs, not 17 pallets. Piled neatly indoors. This morning my stepdaughter got 6 packs at Hurstville.

      • And the price stays the same.

  • +1

Ozbargained at Forest Hill Coles vic, never thought I could be this sad because of toilet paper.

  • +1

was surprised monavale still had a nice pile of them… well little less after my ute load i just got…lol
    thx op for great spotting..
i got a real shitty house so will come in handy….lol

    • Well done. Was the price displayed as $1.57?

      • +1

yep.. thats why i was surprised there was still plenty there

        • The majority of shoppers pay little attention to displayed prices and can't remember what they paid last time.

  • Coles Fitzroy still have them … be quick!

  • Saw a couple with a trolley load of them. Almost went up and asked if they were Ozbargainers. Price wasn’t showing markdown but was lower price at the checkout.

    • Haha :) i also told 6 other shoppers "dont buy that, buy this its $1.57" cleared 3/4 of the shelf twice lol

  • Plenty in Port Macquarie at lighthouse beach Coles!

  • Thanks op, 42 packs rofl.

  • None at Mirrabooka.

  • Vic Gardens had 11.I got those 11

  • None at Winston Hills NSW store

  • Still full price at Bondi Junction Coles - oops just saw comments above about checkout prices being cheaper

    • I didnt see any 12 pack yesterday
