Do you have one that does Children? (preferably in a sounded proofed)

    • haha…good one!!
count 1 in for me if you have it. would be nice to invent

    • Yeah, it's called diamagnetic levitation and they've managed to levitate living frogs etc (anything with high enough water content, I think):

      http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magnetic_levitation#Diamagnetis…

the theory says it should work for human beings, but you need a super huge version of the device, which they don't have, and also need a huge power input, again, which they don't have at the moment. They want to levitate human beings to be able to study the effects of zero g on humans without the cost of sending them into space.

  • interesting…..but probably not for me!
Maybe bargain hunters who own a restaurant or a bar might want this one to show/display their beer on special….

It appears to be magnetically connected to something at the top. Is that right?

If so it's hardly levitating, more like suspended by magnetism. Unless I'm seeing it wrong.

  • I'm not sure what was meant by that question - please re-phrase

  • "this amazing device will do what no others can"

    …except keep your beer cold.

  • There is a magnet which megnetically attaches to the top of a bottle with a metal lid such as a beer bottle. If the bottle does not have a metal lid, the magnet needs to be glued on to the top of the bottle. Then, a floating distance is created so yes, the bottle is suspended by magnetism. If you gently rotate the bottle while it is suspended it will continue to rotate so long as the DC power is applied. This makes for quite a stunning visual effect !

Wouldn't want the power to go out..
