Thanks for the recommendation Duke. I was excited to play MW1 again when they announced the remaster (since I feel the series has spiralled out of control since MW123 and the original BO) but by the time they released it I'd been turned off by Activision's deluge of anti-consumer BS. At this price point I'll bite though - cheers OP.
BTW, they've got offline bots and splitscreen in the remaster apparently - great if you're a scrub like me and just want to play alone or have a few easy matches with the family.

It's amazing how the hatred of IW has managed to make the two pack be consistently cheaper than just buying MWR on it's own.
I got IW day one at midnight, platinum'd MWR in a couple days, still haven't touched IW beyond the Jon Snow opening and about 20 minutes of playtime before I got bored. Not played a single MP match. Hell, I got WWII as a birthday prezzie for the missus last November and I've not played that either. Maybe I'm just not a COD kid anymore, that being said, I would be there midnight again for Modern Warfare 4. Anyway, off topic shit aside, Modern Warfare was a REALLY good remaster, the visuals were fantastic, and playing with all those cheats at the end was great. Modern Warfare totally holds up, and is well worth 20 bucks on it's own.
