Recommended Sound Bar for Sony TV

I'm looking to get a sound bar for my Sony TV.

Preferably a Sound Bar that doesn't need it's own software to play music (i.e. through iPhone)

Budget is around $500-$700 but am fine to spend a little more.

I recommend the sonos playbase.

I know you need the sonos app but that's it. It sounds great, TV sits on it so it's out of the way. Perfect imo.
