Hey guys, just looking for your opinion on whether or not I should get the original iPad while it's cheap or get the new one.

I am definately getting an Ipad 2 for my wife for her photography. The main reason I am getting the Ipad 2 is because it is a lot quicker but the camera doesn't worry me very much
ive got a 12mp camera so i dont really need the camera and i was offered $450 for a 64gb 3G Wi-Fi gen 1 iPad so i was just wondering what would be better

camera is useless as how weird would it be taking shots with the ipad 2
but procesor is fastercamera is good for skype or video chats

Sorry, I should have said it differently. My wife is a photographer and we are going to use the Ipad2 to show her clients some of the photos after editing.

First how can you say that without knowing what they want it for.
Second its not even answering the question or the topic - sounds like trolling. But this is a forum so we aren't as strict here.And if you were really not just being anti Apple, you would have at least pointed to a deal rather than just some generic nerd comment.

I think newer ipads, as my ipod touch 1st gen got ditched by apple… when ipad 3 comes out, they will disown the ipad 1 and refuse to admit it was their product lol
if you got money, just get the ipad 2.
if you don't care so much about the camera and slightly smaller size, see no reason not to get the ipad 1 and use the extra money for other nice things :)
