Has anyone tried using DiviPay to make payments to the ATO and still get credit card rewards points (especially on credit cards that do not allow points accrual on ATO payments)?

looks like it from their website https://www.divipay.com/online/
Divipay have been terrible with their business strategy. Daniel from Divipay opened an AMA, than Divipay went offline. He responded with a 30-day delay announcement, once that was up (several days over that time period) he announced a 3-month delay, and 24 hours before that date he announced the below delay till 2019.
The thing about Divipay is they continue to lead people on, and on and give promise after promise, but never follow through. Daniel could have given an update months in-advance but waits 24 hours before announcing further delay. Absolutely hopeless management.
Important: DiviPay Security will remain inactive until 2019
Hi Xiaomi,
I am writing to let you know that there will be further delay in relaunching the DiviPay security product. We anticipate the service will not be live again until early 2019.
Integrating into a new provider has come with a set of both commercial and technical challenges. These challenges have been compounded with the introduction of additional third parties whose services we require in order to relaunch the product. Unfortunately we are currently constricted by the timelines and priorities of these parties.
What you need to know
The DiviPay security product will be relaunched early 2019
The DiviPay security platform will remain open to view transaction history
f you still have funds remaining on your DiviPay cards please contact the team at [email protected] to organise a refund.
Thank you for your patience over the last few months. The team remains optimistic and are working in close collaboration with the multitude of third parties to get the > > program live again. Please feel free to contact me directly if you have any questions, concerns or comments.Best regards,
Daniel and the DiviPay team
Ah, well I suppose that answers that. Looks like it isn't active after all.
I haven't tried signing up on their website yet, but why do they make it look like the service is ready to go if it's delayed till next year?
Thanks for the reply, very helpful!
@kindshibe: Like I said, Divipay is absolutely terrible, their overall strategy is to deceive, deceive, deceive.
@Xiaomi: Divipay for divs :p
What's an AMA?
Google keeps on coming up with an erection problem centre
Give him a break. They've refunded everyone so no one should be out of pocket.
It's a small start up, clearly theyve had a few issues but don't need people like you bashing them down at every chance. Would love to see you start something similar.
@Pigey: I'm not bashing the business model, their product or anything to do with their overall invention besides they way they go about constantly deceiving people.
Divipay would have known they were months off a release but wait till after their new launch date to re-announce further delay, done not once, not twice but three times over a 6-month period.
I can and I will Bash their lack of communication, their overall angle taken to let mass amounts of people know their service is now considered as unreliable, and that is bad news for a fintech.
Why not telling what is divipay first when creating a thread?
Are they back?
