Bauhn (ALDI) 4K Ultra HD Issues - Help

Hey

I'm just wondering for anyone who owns one, currently bought the 60" I'm having massive issues with the USB/media player.

I got it playing some .AVI files, support told me to do a shipping reset and I managed to get most files playing.

A few hours later it's playing up again, it basically plays a file for 2-3 minutes and then freezes and says unsupported file.

Support told me to return it to a refund or exchange.

Like mentioned, I got it working after the reset on MP4, mkv etc
But now it's doing this again, and it even did it on an. AVI file

This must be a hardware issue? My files play on all other TVs, including one which uses the same media player with no issues

Another issue, if using a Telstar box for Netflix is that sometimes sound takes 1-3 minutes to come through, normal? The tv is very laggy.

P.s. even the fast forward is ridiculously slow lol

    Exchange it and you'll get your answer. Then refund it it wasn't just that unit.

Up to you if you want to try another one. Yes could just be a faulty one. Could have similar issues later. Believe ALdi are reasonable for warranty. Personally I would just return it.

Sounds like a POS. Better off with a Soniq or maybe one off Kogan.

If the video display is fine - that’s the priority. Look at other plug in media players for your content needs, the bauhn doesn’t have great software and I’m not surprised its struggling to play media files.
