Got an Email from Myer to say they have 10% off all Dyson today, so I was curious to see if it included the Supersonic, and it did. Myer seem to also have a promotion of a bonus $50 myer gift card with purchase, and Dyson are also running a promotion for the month of September for a free stand via redemption. https://discoverdyson.com.au/bonusgift/

Bought myself one of these hairdryers 2 weeks ago, completed the form online for the bonus stand on a Wednesday, Dyson said would take up to 6 weeks for delivery, But I received it the following Monday.

      Its quite heavy, and magnetic, so all the accessories are within easy reach, so it is convenient. But I struggle to see how it is worth the price tag of $99, there is no way I would ever pay that for it. It is a nice bonus, and better than nothing, and worth the 2 minutes of my time to complete and submit the online form, But I am not sure I would pay more than $15 for it. May be handy if there was an intruder in your bathroom, it is a decent weight to use as a defense weapon.

          And a dollar spent on something you don't need is as good as a dollar lost (and worse if you consider the tax that you paid on that dollar).

          Can't say I need a $450 hair dryer.

    You can save additional 5% by buying Woolworths egift card then buy myer gift cards instore it's pretty much instant when you buy it through check out operator.

    Eg buy 450 egift card = 427.50 cash value
    Go Woolies to buy myers gift card
    Go Myers and check out with gift card
    You also get $50 myers bonus gift card.
    Plus claim bonus gift from Dyson.
    427.50 - 50 = 377.50

    Dont forget to claim 2.8% cashback too = 12.57
    Total 364.92 less CR

      I have recently tried buying gift cards with Wish gift cards from Woolies, without success. I tried buying a variety of different gift cards, with and without using rewards card. (manager was happy to work with me to do it as she too wanted to know if it would work).
      I have however had success buying gift cards at Big W using my wish gift card.

      also, just to note, the Bonus $50 myer gift card is on Online purchases only, not in store purchases. So, if you manage to buy gift cards at woolies or Big W, you would then need to order it online, using the gift cards, and click and collect it.

          about 2 weeks ago, through the self checkout, bought a visa gift card with a wish gift card.

        Maybe try on self checkout at woolies. I just brought $300 without any issue and used it instantly

          My local have signs up to say no gift card purchases in self checkout, and the staff are watching, and I have seen them send buyers of gift cards to manned checkouts.

    The transactions went through with a little bit of hiccup (not your fault) with BIG W hesitating on giving gift cards against other gift card.
