Seems to be pretty cheap. 8GB SDHC for ~$11 shipped. Customer service is subpar tho.

  • Class 2 Spec. That's like, really slow isn't it? But a damn good price; maybe it's a good backup card.

    • Not that good a price for a class 2 card.

Probably really slow, and for that price - probably a fake (they put sub-par chips in branded casings) You'll receive the item, discover it is only 2GBs and most people won't go through the bother of reporting or sending this back.

    • Not sure if it can be done with these but with some fake usb sticks it will still report the stated capacity but everything after the real capacity will give an error when writing to it.

  • class 2 is alright on your everyday compact camera as long as you are not taking high reso videos on them but as mentioned by phobaphobic, the price does question the genuinity of the card

    These are counterfeit.

      how do you know?

      • Yes, i want to know how can you tell a fake

      • Dup

    • OrangeIT….
      doubt that it is fake

      Care to share your "methods"

      • Indeed. OrangeIT is established and has multiple brick & mortar shop — I doubt they will sell fake Transcend products.

  • lol, cheap on ebay + memory card usually equals fake…… But since its orange IT it maybe real……..

  • For a few dollars more you can get a Class 10 8GB card… I've bought one of these before, it's been working fine for me: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=280596…

    • no bloody way, that's just too cheap to be true

  • there is no way to tell until you get the package

  • I've seen so many true counterfiet flash memory products from Australian eBay sellers that I cannot recommend anyone buy any flash memory product via eBay. eBay does not take this type of fraud seriously and after complaints are made the crims are still selling this junk through eBay from within Australia.

  • I've been to the OrangeIT store in Sydney CBD, it's a very small shop. TINY!
I'm guessing they have a warehouse somewhere.

Not sure if this is a good deal. What is the difference between brand name microsd and the other brands like A-ram and Team? No one can see your card anyway.

Class 2 is too slow for most usage…

  • wow. this deal has the worst comment to vote ratio.

  • Bought Netbook from orangeIT recently, they ship it without Tax Invoice, email them soooo many times without reply.

      http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Lenovo-ideapad-Netbook-S10-3-N455-1-6…

i guess the newer id is currently use to sell second or refurb product

customer service is not so good too…i remember last time i rang them to complaint about laptop and they just asked me to call lenovo straight away. bad services. will not buy from them again eventho its cheap

      • Tax purposes, cash market…

There was an ATO article in the AFR just three days ago.

  • It's a bit expensive, I bought a 16GB class 10 for $27 from a shop.
