What makes this a bargain? $100 a for a pair of jeans is a crime, let alone having to buy two of em for that price!
I wont pay over a hundred for a pair of shoes, so definitely not pair of jeans!.

If you want to pay less than $100 for inferior quality jeans made overseas, that's your choice.

R.M. Williams makes some of the most durable clothing and footware. So stop complaining if you can't afford it!

Its a bargain because they usually cost more

… and I put it up here because, whilst I didn't expect it to be popular because R M Williams are not cheap, one or two OzBargainers who are interested, and who otherwise might have missed out, might be able to get their size before they run out of them (I've had my two put aside for me).

It's a bargain because these jeans usually retail for around 140 hence saving me $80 total. There's no need to call on other people's thoughts on price/quality just because you're not of the same opinion.

        • Ok lets get something clear here. Making a comment based around the product is fine. But its off topic if it doesnt add anything. What someone personally thinks about CocaCola RM Williams Jeans or Android devices isn't adding anything to the deal.

Its Off topic and indulgent. And is being removed

Keef, you have full right to think that $100 for a pair of jeans is outrage, however those particular jeans are usually sold for much ~$50 more.
Someone may think that anything above $200 for a TV is an outrage or that paying $100 for a keyboard is insane. It is a matter of choice.
I see this as a great bargain, I am very happy with the quality of the RM Williams products and thrive for any special like that. Well, ok, I got a keyboard for $19 and would not buy one for more than that. But that does not matter in a $200 keyboard for $100 being a bargain.

    • I'm with you in that I won't buy expensive jeans. I'm a pretty active person, as well as incredibly clumsy, so no matter how good quality my jeans are, I need to replace them in a year. I'm currently getting towards the end of a pair I bought for $19 at kmart in boxing day sales 09, and they happen to be a perfect fit (better than $500+ jeans I've tried on and NEVER purchased) and they only issue with them is a rip in the knee, due to my own clumsiness.

However, spending a lot of money on jeans is a matter of preference. This is a bargain because people who like these jeans would otherwise have to pay a lot more.

Thanks OP, have been buying Aussie made RM Williams for years and looking out for this deal they have once a year, and which is even better now the RRP has increased for Jeans

Excellent deal. Quality threads! My Dad seems to get a pair of these a decade, I could supply him until 2030 with this deal.

  • Oh - does anyone know if this applies just to RM stores, or is it included at Rays Outdoors and other places where they sell these jeans?

  • I really can't afford $100 for a cloth. But still I would admire and enjoy seen people are wearing those expensive cosmetics :)

I don't like the look or fit of RMW myself, but they are real old school quality & this price is a significant saving over the normal purchase price!

To the naysayers: If you think $100 a pair is expensive for actual good quality jeans, spare a thought for the poor chumps paying $600+ for shoddily made sweatshop designer jeans, just for the label!!! :p

    • Poor for that reason only!

  • What about ACT?

These jeans will look totes great when I'm performing everyday activities like herding sheep and square dancing.

  • I am surprised we can submit bargains without clearly stating exactly what the saving is
-either as a % or $ (even if approximate)

even "up to about 30% off" would have saved a heap of comments not related to the bargain

I am going to report this comment and hope someone that can make a difference as far as as some requirements to state the saving -even loosely on the submission form.

    • Ask, and you shall receive :)

The Linesmens range is $149.95 each. so the saving is upto $100.

        • Thank you!!!

    • Yep, that was my whole point to begin with. hence the question "how is this a bargain"
      :)

Revisionist thoughts - no its not what you POINTed out at all.

  • Given that it's a genuine discount off the normal price it seems a bargain. Having said that I've bought jeans that are somewhat cheaper and they are very durable and comfortable.

  • Picked up two Linesmens yesterday, in the colour I wanted, usually $149.95 each - saved $99.90.

RM Williams Stuff are indeed quite good. And good value for money.

I just did a search for a RM Williams On Google and came up with following:
    http://www.stabledoor.com.au/products.php?cat=35&gclid=CLvbp…

Some of the jeans are less than $100…

Im not sure whether they are less than $100 RRP always
