I spend thousands at Bunnings, and I'm sure many others do to. Has anyone found a way to get gift cards at a discount?

Need to have an ABN?
Yup.
UPTO 5%
Is there a science behind this? - I note that many items I've bought recently are 4.9% or 0% and it doesn't appear to me to be category or brand specific, very random.
No science, just some random lotto on the discount that you won't really know these days until you get to the checkout.
You can check prices for some things via the powerpass website, if you really want to know before hand.
But yeah, its either 0% or 4.9% these days, nothing in the middle.
It generally depends on how much GP the particular item has - if there is less than 5% GP, no discount (rule of thumb)
Building materials and consumables would be 5%.
Gardening, storage, cleaning… anything not directly related to trades would not attract a discount.
Power tools are a bit hard to predict.
Not that I know of :/ I would be very happy to know otherwise, as I'm the same. Bunnings is my cash-pit.
Sleep with Mr bunnings
That's hilarious, bet that took a long time to come up with something so witty.
it took about a week or so
What do you buy ? I would think other specialized trade shops or ebay have better prices.
Bunnings may price match the same model.
Find a cheaper price elsewhere and get them to beat it by 10%
Their whole UK operation was going for only £1 recently, That’s not a bad discount.
Get an ABN and open a tradies account
Yeah no ABN unfortunately
Does my ABN HAVE to be for a professional trade (Carpenters, Plumbers, Electricians, Landscapers, Painters)?
I have ABN but its not at all related to those tradedid you find out about this? my abn is under my name, will it work?
Yea it worked doesn't ask you for details
Thanks!
