Mine melted in the sun. Cam still works but the buttons are fused :)

    • Yeah I changed phone mount cause my phone on the dash couldn't stay on and charge in the heat, it would shut down, real worrying.

Always wondered how these things work up there on the windscreen without cooking the MicroSD / melting off the adhesive sticky. I guess i got my answer, sometimes they don't last!

      • Sometimes our dashcam will continually reboot when we start driving and the car has sitting in the hot sun.

The Samsung micro SD cards are very reliable in the heat.

If the Dashcam has 3M brand sticky it should be find. Other brands, no Idea.

        • I was wondering about some kind of tin-foil shield - but it'd be difficult to do.

    • When you say melted, do you mean anything else other than the buttons.

      • no just the buttons are stuck. They sort of come loose when it's hot (best time to press them) then rock solid again when it cools down.

I wish you luck. I already had one, and purchased another two from Banggood [advertised here, from overseas]. They arrived in a box that failed to mention the Viofo brand and the cable connector to both units were faulty and completely unreliable.
Then I took too long to complain, had to send them back, and lost money on the refund.

My original unit still works fine.

    • This sounds like the problem with the V1 had.

  • I want one of these, I just don't wanna install it in the car, looks like a nightmare to install with clean cable routing.
I saw a youtube video of someone hooking his up direct to the fuse box, NOT the USB / cigarette area (too messy) - looked good but need to understand the fuse box :/

Seen a lot of dumb drivers lately :(

    • These are easy to install with clean cabling routing.

I have a back and front viofo.

      • I have a 1996 ford, I don't want to pull down all the crappy interior trim, it's already built poorly :(

  • How is this compared to Xiaomi Phillips CVR108 Dashcam?

  • The heading is:

"VIOFO A119 V2 Version 1440P 160 Degree Wide Angle Car DVR With Gps Black "

    The product listing states

    "Non-GPS Mount".

So is the heading indicating that he product is capable of GPS but does not come with GPS?

    • VIOFO A119 V2 Version is come with GPS.

  • Ordered 2 things from Banggood both faulty on arrival there warranty and return system is a joke they stall, lie then when I sent them back they delayed communications emails then said they didn't receive them when they had signed for them. I had to do a dispute with PayPal & Banggoods excuse was that I was a scammer,But PayPal seen that I'm honest and refunded me. Beware

Store rep replying to posts made after yours. Why not reply to this one as well??? I’d love to know why this buyer was messed around.

  • Great but mine died in less than two years, didn't bother with another.

  • Shows up as 72.99USD. Unable to use code 31c9fe it says"Coupon not available for limited offer products."

    • choose AU warehouse

  • Does price this include GST or are Banggood going to hide it right up until I press the checkout button and not list it as GST, just as an extra cost?

    • This is coming from their Australian warehouse I believe. So no GST.

  • Hmm. Another one to consider — $8.60 more expensive with Ebay PLUS and code PLUG5 but with Free Hard wiring kit @ $100.69

    Ebay

  • is there a simple comparison of A119, A119S, A119 Pro, and A119 V2 ? I am confused !

  • Anyone thinking of getting the A119 V2 should really look around for the A119S instead. The A119S has a much better sensor and lens and is significantly better at night with the latest firmware update. Better again is the A119 Pro although it is a bit more expensive.

    • Thanks for the heads up

  • This device ships from Banggood's Australian warehouse so there's no GST involved.

This widget is shipped from Australia. The retailer is required to comply with Australian tax laws and provide a tax invoice if consumers ask for one.

  • Ordered and Received. Good response time.

  • Now any one have deals on CPL filter. i am having lot glares in video from inside car.

  • Is this sold out? I don't see any AU warehouse option @banggood
