Looking to replace my TEAC remote for my TV, its identical to this
I did manage to find a cheap universal one at target that says it works on most popular brands. Is there any way of checking it will work for my TEAC set top box?

Why dont you just download a remote app on your phone?
only works if you got an ir blaster
Spend the extra and get a Logitech Harmony remote, I got the basic Harmony 350 and its very simple to set it up, needing only to download the commands from online database and the buttons are already pre assigned
I used this one below for a replace to a voxson tv. it was alloy so easy to program following the instructions.

Teac codes are all over the internet if you have to try to program the manually by entering codes
