Hi all for those that bought the v10 absolute+. I received mine today and when i opened the box theres no plastic on all the parts instead it wrap using some sort of paper. The reason I asked of this, when i saw some unboxing video all the parts has plastics like its brand new never been used. I dont want dyson to send me like refurbished. Thanking you all in advance

Are there any other signs of it being a refurb unit? Did you buy from a reputable seller or a random eBay store?
I bought it from offical dyson store with the 25% off code from the expo. There are yellow sticker on the 2 heads. I just want clarification as the pic in the webaite unboxing indicating it should come with sealed plastics.
Does anyone have the 25% off code, or do you have to attend the expo?

If same warranty and runs well, why stress if it's packed differently? Nothing to gain from finding out either way.

Ditto, every part on ours was wrapped in plastic. Motor unit had 2 yellow stickers on it with directions to charge before use and how to empty the container.

I rang them. The reps who received the call are not interested in hearing my complaints. Dyson best customer service, NOT. The reps keep saying that they have 30 day money back guaranteed. If im not happy just return for full refund. I suspect the one sent to me could be from someone that bought and returned it for full refund and it was repackaged without the sealed plastics instead they used cooking paper to wrap some and not all the parts. Plus there are no yeĺlow stickers either on the motor or the soft roller and the direct drive cleaner head

This has to be the biggest first world problem I've seen in a long time. The wrapping is maybe different, wow. And you're surprised Dyson brushed you off? Is the vacuum ok? If yes then all good. You haven't mentioned any problem besides the throw away wrapping. Just throw it away and start using your overpriced plastic vacuum for the next couple of years until it dies just outside warranty like mine.
