      It is misleading to say the price is $35 because it doesn't include GST or shipping. The total cost for me would be $79.51. You should say "$38.50 plus shipping" in the title.

        knowing that most buyers automatically add GST, also the shipping is not a flat rate, I didn't include any in the price, the website adds automatically during checkout, anyhow, I updated the title for less confusion.

  Oats make a shit mop and bucket, they replaced the bucket 5 times in 2 weeks because the split pins come off so easy.

    I’ve been using an Oates bucket just like this for 6yrs. No problems at all. There’s no split pins so maybe you’re thinking of a different bucket?

    I paid $40ish just for the bucket so this seems like decent price, but still not getting my upvote due to missing GST and high shipping costs.

    I bought a similar yellow version from masters (remember them) and it’s still going strong. One of my first jobs involved a lot of mopping and back then Oates buckets and mops survived a lot of punishment.

      Edit: having said that, the receiving bit on the mop head, I.e., the part where the broom stick screws into the plastic part of the mop, has split. I’ve semi-repaired it with cable ties.

  Pullman bucket and 2 mop heads at Godfreys for 29.95, buckets by themselves 25.95 - not sure of quality for mop heads but the bucket is good quality IMHO

  I usually buy mop buckets for $29 (purchased 4 last year in different months). Oats bucket isn't that great. Expensive yes, worth the extra $10-$20, No.
