    The website is really bloody annoying to use. Also $20 flat fee delivery seems a bit excessive.

  • My Dad just placed an order, going to Cooma NSW which is hardly metro and it was $29 for 12 bottles with free delivery.

    When ordering, the code cw50 says free table top delivery even before i enter the address so maybe try reentering the code or use a different browser.

    I then stack with the clean20 code as we are new users and get an extra $20 off.

  • Also just received a refund email. Have followed up to ask why. No refund showing in my bank yet. Don’t like the sounds of this.

  • Noting the charge in my bank coming through as qdalyeminte and poster altomic above noting the other names the company sell under, one being Daltem International. I’ve found that the postal address on clear skin website matches with that on daltem international site but on the latter they provide a telephone number:

    I followed this up soon after ordering, requesting an ETA, no reply. Order also cancelled last night. My fathers order was cancelled too.

    I dont think its entirely unreasonable to cancel the order if there are extenuating circumstances (although as someone who manages a business that would be my last resort and i would do everything i could to fulfil the orders) but not sending through any explanation at all is not acceptable.

    I will be boycotting this business and the other Daltem related businesses in future.

    Extremely unprofessional.

    Also, havent seen the refund in my paypal account either.

    Better come soon or i will be initiating a dispute.

  • My wine was at my door step when I arrived home last night, I was actually quiet surprised as I didn’t think it would come. I ordered a carton of Sauv Blanc & Cabernet.

  • Parko1982 that makes one person who receives their order. Did you stack the coupons or only use one? Maybe you paid enough for them to bother sending your order whereas the rest of us stacked codes?

  • My order was $160 so a decent amount and it got cancelled. No stacking.

  • started a paypal dispute process to try and get my refund

    • Also starting the paypal dispute today.

      • When I get to the dispute questions it asks "Did you cancel the order?", should I say yes even though they cancelled the order? Would it affect the dispute? It does not let me continue if I say no.

        • Not too sure. I clicked no, and then it sent me to a place where I message their paypal account. Now to wait 10 days to see if they reply there.

  • What a disgrace. First they come on here and peddle their wares and then wait weeks before cancelling the orders with no explanation given. Then to top it off no refunds are processed. I have raised a PayPal dispute. I didn’t have the same options as someone listed about. I was able to choose something along the lines of “my item was not received” and then I filled out a comments box outlining why I raised the dispute. PayPal will then review my dispute and let me know the outcome. So in about 10 days I should get a refund. Thanks for the wasted time Daltem International. Bunch of crooks. Hope they get a mass of disputes raised and their PayPal account gets frozen. That’s what normally happens 😄

  • If any of you have trouble or the suitable dispute options aren’t listed, don’t select “I cancelled my order” or any option that doesn’t correspond to your dispute as it is possible that the dispute will be cancelled in the sellers favour. If you have trouble onthe website take the time to call PayPal and lodge the dispute properly to ensure you win. I’ve called the a few times and they are quite helpful.

    We are a small wine maker in the Adelaide hills & not very technically savvy. The coupon code used was incorrect & people used more than one code at a time. For this reason we are unable to fulfill the order. We are going to refund the full amount but unfortunately our paypal has been blocked. We are working on this and should be rectified today.

  • Can echo the above replies. They seem to have just miscalculated their offer shall we say. Best to accept the apology and hopefully they'll come back with another offer that they can better manage.

  • Apologies, i was being facetious in my reply above. All is not forgiven.

    The whole process has been odd. Assuming it was an honest mistake why wouldn't you send the apologies email prior to the cancellation advising people why the order was being cancelled?

    Why wait almost 2 weeks after the orders were placed before cancelling them?

    Why not send through the refund at the same time the orders were cancelled?

    Why no name and contact number on the email?

    Backyard operators here, you dont have to be tech savvy to know how to have good customer service and communication.

    The reason their Paypal account is having issues is because they took everyone's money, sent an email confirming the order and then went completely AWOL so some of our jumpier members (and others i assume too) decided to submit a dispute. Blaming the account being blocked for not giving refunds yet is ridiculous. If they had have had better communication then their account would never have been frozen.

    We've all wasted enough time on this, i still haven't had my refund come through yet, I'm assuming it wont until the dispute is resolved in my favour. Currently Paypal is waiting on a response from the seller. If the seller wanted to they could resolve the dispute in my favour and Paypal would pay me today. But they haven't.

    My Dad ordered with Paypal but using his CC on the Cleanskin website, the transaction doesnt show up in his Paypal account so i'm, not sure how we are going to get that money back, maybe with a bank changeback. Fun times.

    Anyway, good luck to everyone else, please keep us posted on when/if your refund comes through.

  • Also, some users have confirmed that they didnt stack codes and still had their order cancelled so Cleanskin saying that they had to cancel the orders because codes were stacked incorrectly is not entirely true.

    • Same here.. almost a month later. Safe to say never dealing with this lot again

  • Sorry for not posting earlier, i received my refund a few days ago.

    Paypal stated that they ruled in my favour after the seller didnt respond to the dispute within 10 days.

    Therefore, the assertion from the seller that they would refund ASAP via Paypal is BS as they didnt even respond to any of our disputes. If they had bothered to respond then Paypal would have refunded our money well before the 10 day waiting period had expired.

    Avoid these guys like the plague, i hope this thread gets linked to every offer they post on Ozb.
