seems for niche market …if hiking you’d be taking gas stove and one of those foil wind shields which are lighter and cheaper and fold up smaller.
if just camping, you don’t have the restraint of having to carry it on your back so their are more options for camp stove either for gas or wood, heck take the chimney used to light your weber coals , they are designed to light fuel and people grill on top ….also about 5” but doesn’t fold up, but costs less then $20.
Light weight hiking is what its designed for, those people get plesure from every gram saved
Pretty sure that is his point… 907g is super heavy for a hiking stove.

Yeh it's not really for lightweight hiking, it's considered heavy in this category. It's more for general campers and bushcraft enthusiasts. It's quite versatile in that it can use wood, pellets, fuel burner and even firebricks (or whatever they're called). It is very much a niche product, plenty of vids on YouTube which show how to get the most out of it.
Looks like it calls for some whittling.
I remember this from kickstarter 2 yrs ago. Good to see it was a successful project.
