      Grats

    • Same here :) I was thinking of this high chair
      Update: gone now :(

      • We found the Baby Bjorn high chair really good. But I don't remember paying $300 for it!

For our first baby we used the (Peg Perego Siesta)[https://www.babybunting.com.au/peg-perego-siesta-follow-me-arancia.html]. My son and the rest of the family absolutely loved it! Apart from the seat cover(original spare part can be found for $30) it still looks brand new

      • +1

we just used the one from ikea, think its around $20-$30

  • Thanks OP

    • Thanks, didn't get the offer in the app, but your link worked!

  • +7

Who wants to go halves in a baby to take advantage of this deal?

    • +1

      Which half are you?!

    • Instructions unclear - got drinks thrown at the bar.

    • i wont mind if you're a girl

      • +1

        Wow dude, have some standards.

  • -4

Is this targeted? Any direct link to the usual registration page?

  • Thanks OP

  • +3

I hope Baby Bunting have removed their Amex surcharge.

    • Yep they have. Bought $240 worth of stuff yesterday 😪

    • +2

Pretty sure AMEX wouldn't let you run such a promo if you charged a surcharge.

      • -1

Heaps of merchants still charged an AMEX surcharge during the shop small offer.

        • +2

Maybe so, but it's one thing to be part of shop small, it's another entirely to be part of a cashback promo. Also chances are if AMEX gets a whiff of the surcharge being charged by shop-small businesses they won't be included again.

      • So no more Qantas promos?

  • Any good deals to use this on?

    • The ergobaby 360 Omni for 199, bulk nappies for $35

    • +1

      gift cards?

  • Nice!

  • Has anyone registered for American Express Connect and saved an offer after the offer has come live? I assume this won't be an issue to get the deal?

    • Never been a problem in my experience. It's worked heaps of times.

  • It's asking me to log in, no option to just register my credit card details like in previous offers. Do you need to have an AMEX account? I only have a CBA AMEX card.

    • +2

2 people in this thread have already included a manual link..that should work for you mate!

    • amexconnect.com.au

      look for the offer

      click offer

      enter details

      click save offer

  • +2

Any restrictions on gift cards ?

    • +2

Doubt it. Unless it's Westfield or Harvey normans

  • +1

Ok, time from baby number 3.

    • +1

No, you don't get time from a baby, they get it from you! :P

      • Jokes on them, we have no time to give :P

  • So is it each transaction of 120 get 40 back or for every 120 spent, get 40 back? Need to buy couple of things, spend will be more than 1k. So better to do multiple transactions?

    • +1

With AmEx, it's always a "Spend $X or MORE, get a SINGLE $Y back". So whether you spend exactly $X or $(X+1000), you'll still get $Y back. Best to do split payments. Or even better, get gift eVouchers online for $120 each, paying with each of your AmEx cards. Do you have enough cards to make $1k+ of GC purchases?

      • +1

        Thanks for ur time.

No I have only 1 account- 2 joint cards, but they both have same card numbers

        • PM'd

        • @MathNerd: hi offer is full. Did you say you had reserved some of these?

  • Getting a puppy soon and wondering if buying a playpen for it would be overkill…

    • Probably a good idea. Just give them lots of nice things (toys, blanket etc) to feel happy about being in there and not next to you!

  • receive one $40 credit

Does that mean credit as in cash or just credit to use in Baby buntings?

Credit is not redeemable for cash or other payment form.

    • +2

Goes back to the amex, similar to a refund.

  • Finally I can afford to buy Bugaboo!!! For those who don't know what Bugaboo is, it's the Rolls Royce of baby prams.

    • How is $40 off enough for you to afford bugaboo?

      • +1

Like saying "Yay, the new Ferrari has a $20,000 off deal"

        • +1

the richest people are at times the tightest when it comes to thrift
thats half of what got them there in the first place

      • More than one Amex card/supp to save the offer on? I know I'll be using this on multiple cards.

      • 10 cards $400 off, pretty innovative thinking I know.

        • Who the (profanity) has 10 amex cards?

        • @Dowhatuwant: Someone has 30 cards all in the same name. The lady at Westfield told me that was a new record for her when i got my GC's. Going from previous comments I've seen, a lot of people have 10 or more.

        • @8azinga: That's crazy, I'm surprised they even let people apply for that many at once.

        • +1

@Dowhatuwant: 10 Amex? Pffftt amateur! Try 21 additional cards under 2 main card holders.

You've got suffixes like Sr, Jr, II, III, IV, etc

        • +1

eastern culture boosts of many more

    • My wife convinced me on the basis of resale value; if you factor that in they don't seem so bad.

Also they do actually handle very nicely, and are generally well made. Still staggeringly expensive though.

      • +1

We sold ours for nearly half price after just 14 months use! To be honest it was a donkey twin pram so less demand for these compared to single bugaboos, but certainly the resale value was actually worse than my Maclaren strollers. Yes the quality of these is great, but they are bulky and wide to use (again, maybe just the twin pram). Ended up using the money sold to buy two Mountain Buggy strollers!

        • To be fair, I just took her word for it :D

Ours is one of the single models, hopefully better resale but it's ~4 years old now so who knows - it's a sunk cost now, getting anything for it would look good :D.

The donkey model looks crazy big!

    • Damn, ~$2.5k for a pram! That's insane!
But then you can get a new iPhone for about that same price so it's not as crazy as it may seem!

  • +5

Great deal, thanks OP. However, have no use for this so will save the registration spots for those that need it.

However, if anyone here doesn't have enough cards to make up their purchase total, let me know and I can help out.

    • +1

      +1. Good One

    • +1

legend! hope it works out for someone

      • Thanks mate. Providing the service free of charge to fellow OzB members, who may otherwise not have a way of maximising the use of this brilliant deal.
No bites yet so still haven't saved the offer to any of my cards.

  • Thanks OP! Need it 2nd child otw!

  • Has anyone tried purchasing gift cards with this promo

    • +5

Just purchased an e-voucher with a 3 year expiry and got it immediately via email, also got confirmation from AMEX that my offer has been used. Hope that helps!

    • +1

      Works!

      • Just tried to purchase another for my wifes amex and got bounced back to the shopping cart when after entering payment. Anyone else got the same issue?

        • Yeah I got the same thing too!.

          Weird

        • @Turd: They must have closed the function for AMEX or something.

        • @ArabMoneeey: Cant be.!?!

        • @Turd: tried using a different account under my wifes name still no go.

        • @ArabMoneeey: Weird.

Must be some auto system stop. Try in a few days or weeks maybe.

        • @Turd: Yeh I managed to pick up 2 before it cutoff, perhaps you could purchase the physical card instore?

          • @KingJuf: Seems like they dont allow it now, online buying of evoucher.

        • @ArabMoneeey: Same picked 2 up as well.

          • @Turd: Looks like they limit to 2 eVouchers per account… I just picked up 2 tonight, and trying to go a third it bounced me back out of my cart!

Going to try create another account and see how we go…

Edit: Secondary account didn't allow purchase of more, keeps bouncing back out of the cart =(

            • @AnDyStYLe: Strange! How do they know!?

            • @AnDyStYLe: Yeh second account with cards if different names still doesnt work, tried with different IP and still doesnt work. God knows how they know but 2 seems to be the going limit.

              • @KingJuf: Yeah I also thought about IP address, so I used another internet connection with a new account and still didn't work last night. This new account contained same mobile and address, pretty much same details except for email.

Today, I created another new account and changed up name slightly, mobile and address to my work ones… Bingo, I was able to order another 2 eVouchers.

    • Haven't been there for a while, do they sell any visa/eftpos gift cards in store?

      • no they do not

    • Just bought 3 online

the first two worked fine and i got the emails instantly.

The third went back to the shopping cart. I decided to turn on the VPN and set the country to NZ and it went through like normal. Also got the emails instantly

ETA - Actually the gift card for the third one has not come through but i received the Amex redeemed email

      • Did you get it?

I cant seem to get it working now.

Might try as a guest. hmmm

        • I tried that too, didn't work. Find any workarounds mate?

      • Did you receive the voucher? How long did it take?
        Ta
