This is a phone with a lot of problems. e.g freezing.switching off.
Got the Maxi N97 (regular N97 + larger battery) and I believe the Software is the same, so I offer the best way to have a very stable phone.
Wipe it clean, install the latest firmware…… do not install anything or add any contacts or messages. The phone is great then! If you want to use it like any smart phone, then your just asking for trouble.

I've had to set up this phone for 2 people and I hate it with a passion.
Nokia's software was once great on button phones, but they've lost the plot with touchscreens.The accept button is slightly schizophrenic and switches sides between left/right like a ping pong ball.
The interface is rigid and unforgiving, whilst the processing power is quite weak.
Avoid it if possible.
