  • Great find. Thanks OP

  • Already got the bed just need the frame fml

    • What do you think of it?
Lots of Polyester, no spring cells?

      • +2

i have one of these koala mattresses, a onebed queen and sleeping duck titan queen.

IMO the koala is the worst, feels like a cheap piece of foam. Sleeping duck titan feels very similar to your traditional spring bed. I would definitely buy sleeping duck titan again.

        • Have to agree. Tested out the Koala in store and it felt cheap and thin (not hard to bottom out on). Got a Sleeping Duck - well worth the premium. Feels like a super comfortable spring mattress.

        • @Darkscythe: Did you get the Sleeping Duck Pro or Lite?

        • @vinh316: We have an original 3 layer Koala and a Onebed; I prefer the Koala, but have tested the newer 2 layer version in Myer and it’s not the same.

Not sure on the OneBed; have just flipped the inner foam to the medium layer and it seems firmer, so might send it back before the guarantee runs out.

We tried the Ecosa before either of the above, but it felt like we were sleeping on the floor, so it was the worst of the 3 in our opinion.

Seems Sleeping Duck has a good rep, but also pricey. Do you have the Pro or the Lite?

        • @Master Bates: We bought a month before they released the Pro when they only had one model (which seems identical to the Pro). I really like it - you can really tell the difference between pure foam and foam plus springs.

        • @Master Bates: When i bought it several years ago they called it the titan. looking at the website now, the titan looks the same as the pro with the inner springs. Have not tried the lite but the springs make it so much better than no spring mattresses.

        • @Willy Stains: Nice name change, lol

        • @Master Bates: haha a google search prompted me to change the name

  • We got a king bed and the timber piece together base (which is heavy and really sturdy) from Koala and it's great, about 3 months in so still early. As with all beds time will tell if the mattress fades but so far the firmness is great. With the change of mind policy it really allows you to give it a go, keep in mind it felt really hard the first night or two but settled in night 3 and onwards.

  • It looks the same as Bed In A Box mattress. Is it like they all come from the same factory and get different branding?

  • Can you roll the mattress back in the box for storage?

    • +2

Nope, once you open the vacuum sealed bag the mattress is in there's no way to put it back in the box.

  • I had one of these and returned it in favour of a (much cheaper) Aldi pocket spring mattress, which I found more comfortable.
