Hey guys, i was in anaconda on the weekend and this bike was $199. The store told me to comeback today as it was going to clearance @ $149 was originally $499. Women's bike available as well.

Steel frame with twist shifters… Just another department store pushbikes. I won't consider it at all. I almost want to down vote this deal…
Another Anaconda bike (Fluid Sprint 20 Dual Sport) is a much more reasonable mountain bike with 6061 Alloy frame and trigger shifters (but cable disc brake), but the suspension fork is still questionable… Even in its overview it only mention "road, paths, grass, and light gravel" so still not a true "mountain bike". $349 is more or less a fair price for what it is. (RRP $899 is total BS, this is proper Giant/Merida mountain bikes money.)

The Fluid Sprint 3.0 Commuter is actually a pretty good deal at $299 (Acera gears, 6061 Alloy frame and hydraulic disc brakes), but only available in small.

I don't think you're really supposed to get bikes shipped. Could you imagine trying to arrange return shipping for whatever reason?

Cheaply built steel bikes just not worth it.
I'm thinking about getting a Malvern Star Hurricane 27.2 for my 15 year old. Do you think this is a good option or better to go with the Radius Tanga?

GT Aggressor Comp is on the list. IMO it has better suspension fork than the other two (otherwise similar spec), and it's a "better brand" than Radius/MalvemStar so should has better resales when you kid wants to upgrade/upsize.

If you can still find some, get the mtb that Aldi has on sale if you are looking for a budget bike with suspension. It’s comparable to the branded bikes that sell for $500-$800
I am 1.95 tall. Is this bike to short to me? What would be a good size to me?
There have been a few deals over the last few months for Anaconda bikes - none of them really sound that great with just plain silly RRPs. YMMV though
I would argue that this is what the bikes should retail at. I’ve had a close look at the $899 anaconda bikes and they are just rubbish all low end gear and heavy frames. Slightly better than a Kmart bike.
Great deal if you can pick up and need local transport… other than that. It's pretty lacklustre. I'd pass it over for something better spec'ced and on Gumtree
