HDMI Port Splitter for TV

Hi guys I'm looking for a HDMI splitter that will allow me to plug into my TV to basically add a few more HDMI ports. I have got a older TV and just don't have enough HDMI ports, I'm not really looking for anything fancy as long as it works. I did have something for my computer monitor which worked fine for the computer monitor, but for some reason it doesn't seem to work for my TV.

The link shows what I have, not sure if there are any different models, but mine looks pretty much identical to it, the ebay one says can be use for TV, if anyone have any suggestions on what I'm doing wrong maybe?

    I'm pretty sure I have the same one at home and seems to work fine, do you press the select button to change it? I know it sometimes auto changes when something is plugged in.

    Only thing I have with it is it doesn't have CEC I don't think? So I can't use it as easily with like chromecast and stuff (to turn my tv on etc).

    Some of those splitters will mess with HDCP. If you're trying to play back a blu-ray or DVD or something that requires HDCP maybe that's it?

    They have all sizes and pretty well priced. They have a store on AliExpress and Amazon. No complaints at all here with mine.
