They've also got a few others on sale but this is the best deal and the one I bought to replace my old Tefal. Great iron.

  Yes ok, a few short times in the past it has been as low as $119 but your link does say it's normally $149.

  Anyway, $50 off the supposed next best price for a very good iron made in France is pretty good. And from a decent seller I might add.

      Again, and regardless, it's only $69. I'll leave it to others to decide if it's a good deal or not.

        That means that every month for the last 4 months, you could have bought it for $119 and not paid the artificial price of $149. That's what real OzBargainers do, look at the price history to determine what is the best price to pay.

        That's just their algorithm.

        Geez, you really are a pedantic and painful piece of work. The price is $69 FFS. Not $149! Nor $119.

        The actual website you linked to for evidence actually states the normal price clearly as $149.

        Furthermore, immediately before this sale it was selling at myer for $149. Which was more often than not Myers price. It was rarely at $119.

        So, do you want me to change the title to:

        Tefal Turbopro Airglide Iron: Maroon FV5605 $69 (Was $149 before this sale, but has briefly been $119 before that, in its history though, it has been mostly $149) @ Myer

  Ok so instead of arguing over one of the most pointless things ive seen on ozbargain (and thats saying something).

  Has anyone bought the iron? thoughts on the iron? IS this a good deal for an iron in this price range?
