    I don't understand this device - you still need a sushi-roller to roll what you get out of this, into the seaweed, otherwise your sushi will still be loose.

    • Yes you still need a bamboo mat

    • Nah not really, normally the roller helps form and compact the rice and ingredients while wrapping.

      But as long as your ratio of components is alright, ie you have rice all the way around your filling. It should hold together pretty well.

      The moisture from the rice will stick the seasweed to the roll and since everything is tight and compressed its just a matter of wetting the overlap and folding it, kinda like licking and finishing a rollie/ roll your own cig.

      Certainly an interesting execution, can see it being cool to do with kids.

          Don't want to steal old mates thunder but diaso sell a 2 piece mould/form for $2.80 that does the same thing but a little less complex.
