True. Just like Ultraboosts now. But in terms of fit, comfort and look, the eipc react still hands down the best out of all the react releases tho imo.
New react?
Nike Epic React was released in February this year and they usually only do yearly refresh. You are probably talking about other Nike shoes featuring React foam, like the recently released Zoom Fly Flynit?
I'm talking about the react element. It's not part of the epic line but it's still one of their newest react releases.
elements arent even flyknit. elements are inferior and react are better in every way.
@swxfty: Agreed
Elements are lifestyle. Epic reacts are more for performance.
Just to note it's only the blue for $132, the other colours are over $200.
I have a pair of these from DHGate and love them.
These are authentic fam.
Yeah I'm still considering.
very cheap
Much better deal at $112 than paying $70 for some non main line air max at sports direct.
most comfy shoe I've ever worn…. but dont expect more than 6 months out of the sole.
I've had mine for 3 months and already down to the foam, which wears quick. Probably less durable than the Ultraboost.
the Odyssey React is cheaper (no flyknit), but looks like it has more rubber before the foam… I'll be giving those a go once they go on sale!
What you use the shoes for? Odysseys are pretty good for running as they have rubbers on bottom but they run pretty narrow. If you have wide feet like me, they will hurt from the middle of your feet towards the toes. They are not much more duarable than the epic. The sole still wears out quickly except the part where the rubbers are.
If you have a look at the rubbers, the Odyssey covers a lot more of the sole. I walk to work in them, so I do use them a fair bit, but I dont run in them.
The rubbers on the Epic Reacts only cover half the area that wears away, right at the top, and bottom. So the foam is just disintegrating where the rubber doesn't reach.
I didn't realize they were narrower…. could be an issue! May have to wait for a newer model to come along! Not gonna drop 150+ bucks every 6 months.
Thanks OP, I picked up a pair of these when they were reduced to $182 and will grab another pair. Fantastic running shoes.
this item is ineligible for the $20 off offer
source: i just tried
Same here
For me too…still I went ahead and ordered one. Thanks OP
I also tried, took me a few attempts but I purchased for $112.

Oh wow…what you did differently ? What's the trick ?
@praveenmishram: The code was accepted until I entered phone number, then the price would jump back to $132. I tried a few times to enter the code and tried different phone numbers until it worked. I'm not sure exactly what did it, but it took 10 mins for me to pay only $112
Good price for the epic but you can expect them to keep coming down slowly since the new react has been released.
