yea, you know, Jesus, Allah, Buddha etc
religion is not doing too well at the moment so they're expanding into waste management

    • Pay Less Pay communion!

    • It's going to be a long *ss manual instruction, maybe we need to dedicate one day a week to discuss this? and if that's not enough, 5 times a day?

It seems to be a significant cost reduction, but shouldn't we be doing better with food scraps than disposing through the sewage system?
Lots of nutrients in food scraps; save money and compost.

They encourage increased water usage too, to "flush" the stuff away. Fine if you're somewhere that has no problem with water supply, like not-Australia.

This is the American way of dealing with food scrap.

In Japan, a lot of households own a dedicated food scrap bin, so instead of crushing and flushing the waste away, the machine slowly dries them out with warm air making it ordour free and great compost for your garden.

      Examples like This and this

      • Another option is a 'digester' like the Green Cone.

Have used them for decades and their ability to disappear organic material is remarkable.
I once fed it an entire deceased chicken and when the time came to relocate the bin I found not a trace; not a claw, beak or feather, just rich, black compost.

They seem expensive for what they are but some local councils sell them cheaper and they seem to last forever.

        • I am trying to find something like this but something for a very large business maybe and very sturdy durable and foolproof so not even a crazy idiot can destroy it.

So needs to be way larger, way easier to use and way stronger (imagine angry prison workers using this or just the mentally ill)

    • A Bokashi bin is a great way to do this. And no power or electrical devices required. The contents simply ferments and then gets used in the garden. The Bokashi-"juice" is great too but must be diluted before being applied to the garden.

  • I seriously don't understand how these things aren't illegal.

  • How easy is it to install this thing?

  • I have had these in the past and they inevitably start leaking and then you need a new one or remove it.

  • Price match at bunning $215.10
