I’m a first time user of a cheap Kogan sim which I just needed for data only for a couple of weeks. The sim expires in a few days and I don’t want to get stung with a $49 charge so I’ve turned off the auto-recharge function. However, some OZB people have said they’ve rung the call centre to cancel – which is what Kogan say to do. Now I’m unsure. There are obviously some sim/data experts out there, so I’d appreciate your advice. Thanks.

Thanks for responding xywolap, excellent advice. Screen shot taken. Cheers.
Disable auto recharge and can also remove the card from the account. Thats what I did.
Thanks. Apologies for late response. Removed card, problem sorted.
If you have disabled auto recharge then you have nothing to worry about.
If you are still concerned that you will get charged then take a screen shot of your page with the auto recharge turned off. We have had quite a few from Kogan and have had no problem.
The phone # will drop off and reallocated after a set amount of time.
