hi all,
does anyone have any recomendations on a lower priced monitor that is 27", curved and has vesa mounting holes. needs to be WQHD too. min 60Mhz, and good at reducing blue light as i work a lot at night.
the cheapest i can find is about $550, i was hoping for something a little cheaper.
maybe if i don't go with curved i can get cheaper.

Okay, this feels weird, but… you're right. Windows 10 has a Night Light function that reduces the amount of blue-light in the entire operating system. You can customize it to be on all the time if you want.
Edit: How-to.

AU $263.12 (plus 20 shipping), not curved, WQHD with IPS panel
for working at night, enable "night mode" in Windows, or install f.lux in Ubuntu.
Also see ASUS VZ27AQ, that's a $429 dollar option with "Eye Care" gimmick and blue light filter.
the viewsonic i was looking at which was a great price… but some of the reviews mention text can look blurly on it, which would really bug me.
I am not sure that ASUS has vesa mountsWhat about ASUS PB277Q

100mm VESA
however, it's not IPS. You are paying a slight premium for the 75hz refresh rate.
You can reduce blue light with Windows.
