  • Fantastic. Thank you!

  • I have checked several products using that link but there is no discount at checkout?

    • Just confirmed the Whiskas 4 pack has discount applied via that link. When at checkout shows as in screenshot below:

Edit - And I just bought like $300 of cat food and discount definitely applied :D. … my cat better not die now.

Well… it may not be the best food, but like a human won't die by solely eating Pringles and vitamin supplements, your cat won't be eating something good.

        http://www.petfoodreviews.com.au/dry-cat-food/whiskas/

Let’s consider cats for a moment. In the simplest of terms, cats are carnivores, their diet should be meat. The Number 1 ingredient in Whiskas is wholegrain cereals. What? We’ve fallen at the first hurdle! There’s a single factual reason why a cat food manufacturer would sell a diet comprised mostly of cereal grains, and that’s profit. It’s not for the well being of your much loved pet. They’re putting profit before your pet, which doesn’t sound very ethical does it?

A cereal diet is rubbish for a cat. Their digestive system is designed to digest meats, not grains. Even as far as grains go this isn’t a decent ingredient. They don’t state what type of cereals, so I pretty much guarantee it will be a mixture of dirt cheap grains like wheat, corn, sorghum, and rice. Waste products.

        • Agree with BM, I feed my cat raw.

  • Thank you OP! Don't forget CR too!

    Some really good prices!!

I just did the same and spent 300+ cat food sorted for at least a year for my two fur babies.

Should check price in local supermarkets of items you are considering as some are not necessarily a bargain e.g. WHISKAS 1+ Years Sardine and Prawn Dry Cat Food 2.5kg Bag, 4 Pack. It's ~10% cheaper at my local Woolworths (on special) and don't have to buy 4 packs. Anyway, pays to check prices before spending up big time!

    • I thought normal Woolies price is like $12 for this pack and then sale price was $9? I checked last night but maybe it goes on special lower than that?

      • Yes, on special at Woolies for $9. So 4 packs would cost $36 and cost on Amazon with 30% off is $39.73.
PS Woolworths specials normally start on Wednesdays so last night it might not have been on special

        • Something screwy going on, see my screenshot from last night the starting price:

          https://imgur.com/a/9uDK4qp

Price then before discount is $36. Now magically $54 (on a different flavour, I'm assuming the screenshotted one sold out).

        • @deelaroo: Yeah, different pricing for each

  • Some good prices on the Hills Science Diet. Discounted to $60 for a 12kg Active Longevity.

      Active Longevity

Geez the pet food industry is full of it with their nonsense marketing.

      • Going by how many people buy complete crap even with widely available and known information about which foods are good and which aren't, then post about it, I think the marketing is doing a fantastic job of harming animals while making huge profits.

Petbarn often has 25% off vouchers and sometimes even 30%. I compared some Hill Science dry cat food and Petbarn seems cheaper with their discount because their starting prices are better. Looks like their 25% off just expired but I'm sure another one is just around the corner.

Well that should bring down the food costs at old age care facilities , just a matter of deciding what to call it on the menu and how to present it.

  • Prices for OPTIMUM Chicken Vegetables & Rice Dry Dog Food 3kg Bag, 4 Pack, look to be about the same price per KG (with CR) as Coles/Woolworths 7KG bags when they are on half price special. Last time Coles was on special was in January I think.

  • Missed other perbarn deal but amazon covered it ;)
    Thanks Op

  • Ughh, forgot cashrewards :|

Greenies dental treats for ~$5.30 a bag is a really good deal.

  • I bought my dog some My Dog Home varieties (which are her favourite).
Cheaper than most Coles/Woolies sales plus it's home delivered so the mailman does the hard work.

FYI - 30% discount is taken at check-out and is not included in the listed price.
