NOTE THESE ARE THE iPad/iPhone/iPod version. I don't know exactly what that entails, but please check for compatibility with your devices first.
Literature Review:
Some in past deals have said that these are boomy/bass-heavy - not sure how they stack up fidelity-wise, but this seemed like a good deal when I stumbled upon it, down from $299.95, although a quick search reveals that these can regularly be found for less.
Past comments have also mentioned that the resilience of the head size sliding adjusters may not be all that robust over time.
On a positive note, one OzBargainer is quoted as mentioning that these may have ranked 3rd in a past Choice Magazine comparison.

OP's Comment
I personally came across these in my hunt for a pair of reasonably priced (about ~$100 was my initial ballpark, ruling out the QC35's) and good sounding over-ears that I could use both at work and on my commute to drown out sound and take calls with. If any suggestions for alternatives exist, please let me know
Probably a third of RRP due to them being hard to shift , they are not wireless, that seems to be what most headphone buyers want today.
