Jetstar App - not opening on Android?

Is anyone else having issues with the Jetstar app on Android?

I try to open it on my Tablet (Android OS 6) or Phone (Android OS 9) and it just flashes up & shuts down.
I've cleared the cache & data, deleted & re-installed the app, but no luck.
The ever helpful chat suggested I restart my phone and install the lastest version of Android and the app.

Neither devices are rooted and I've allowed all the requested permissions (dispite my better judgement).

is it just me?

    General advice is to only update apps when there is a compelling reason to do so. Random bugs galore in-device and in the play store.

    Always keep .apk file backups, in case you need to reinstall an older version, after issue with a current one. Especially if you have come to rely on the app. Also the best way to troubleshoot, unless there is a particularly weird device or external issue.
